Anyway, This wasn't about who makes the best interesting threads or how one should make a thread... This was about not putting an end to a bunch of threads that as we can see many of you do enjoy posting on them and like talking about how hot the guys are. I think I've even posted in some of them:wink3: I don't think I would ever finish talking about how cute Johnny is :nice: :curtain: but about letting you know that you don't need to make a dozen threads about it per day. Like I said.. It was getting annoying to see the first page full of those threads which is why many of the members who normally post at the Lounge are here. To let you know maybe why they never post here:laugh3: :smiley2: and this is why this thread was made. Btw it's not true that we don't want you here. I enjoy chatting with most of you when I get the time to and to read your threads. We are not gonna delete any of the threads because there is really no need to. Everyone enjoys a silly thread once a while.. just not a dozen everyday..:laugh3: :tongue3:

I'm sorry, I'd hate to beat a dead horse and take this thread somewhere it might not be going anymore... But I kind of have a serious suggestion that I might forward to Ian.

 

I read a few pages back about someone mentioning moving the picture threads to CFU. Well, that's not exactly what it's for. BUT. What if we made another section for like...... "the girls" (or guys, I don't want to be sexist here ;) ). There's something similiar to this on Interference, a U2 forum. They have a whole area where mainly girls post pictures, chatter about how hot the guys can be, etc etc. Then there's a whole other area where people just talk about random things about the band (like this song versus that song, this album versus that album, the differences between time periods, etc etc). That's what I think this Coldplay section could be, then another area could be just for pictures and hotness threads. You know what I'm saying? That way everybody here wouldn't feel alienated and could have a whole entire area just for themselves to go nuts in. And the people who don't want to scroll over those certain threads wouldn't have to.

 

 

I think that would make everybody a lot happier. But I'm probably wrong :lol:

If Ian wants to do that, fine by me. I think it would be interesting to see who will actually come and post in here once the "girls" leave. It's nothing for them to put up 10-20 pages a day on just Guy.
