Oh the drama

Well.....first of all I'm more talking about the last days.....I didn't consider now.....and 2nd.....do I have to post in other threads because I'm complaining here?

And well...........at the moment I'm not that interested in Coldplay.....don't know why...but I didn't listen to them for some weeks now....

Well damn. If you are not interested in Coldplay then why are you moaning about this? You are uninterested, you probably wouldn't post here whether there were "superficial" threads or not.

 

And isn't the point of this thread all about how the superficial threads were clogging up the forum and turning people off from this section? Well there's plenty of threads now, but I don't see (m)any of the loungers doing things any differently than they have in the past. It's quite annoying..

If that's true, I think he should be saying this stuff himself and not send mods or other members to do it for him. If he's that unhappy with us ask us to leave or remove the stuff. No drama, just cut through the bullshite.

I don't really mind how the threads are arranged but I do think that the point of a fan message board is that people are free to write about the band however they want - whether it be about the music or the boys themselves - as long as it is not considered offensive.

 

If you are not interested in certain threads then don't read them. It is not the point of a fan message board to judge people on how they like the band. I would certainly feel less likely to keep logging on to and posting on a board if I thought the members and moderators were deciding what was a 'worthy' post and what wasn't.

 

This is a band fan site. Of course you are going to get people posting about liking the boys. I think people should respect what is written by people and only read the posts they find it interesting. And if there isn't enough debate and 'serious' posts then my suggestion would be that you begin some more, rather than complain about other people's posts. I am sure then you will get some interesting responses :)

Geee, this is unfair cos he's not the only one tired with all this crap, you should be happy to have him as admin cos Ian always let his board be free to express you own opinions for good or bad and even if you hate coldplay... on other boards you'd get your ass banned for dissing coldplay ( of the band that board is dedicted to) or just spam with 167323343 threads about hot hot they are , ( yeah, spam is considered when u get like 10k post just by posting pics ). I'm not much of a thread maker but i love to participate when i see something interesting, not only in the lounge but also in this section of the board and not a single one calls my attention here cos its just about inside jokes, how hot they are blah blah blah, that's ok for a while but all the friggin time is really annoying.
