I just like the pictures, but you have a valid point Reilly. Sometimes some of the posts on the boards have me going "wow...".

 

It's okay when it's all in good fun, but some of the things said is a bit overboard.

 

I don't know. There's some wonderful people on this board, but I think some people are too preoccupied with the guys looks and talking about certain body parts or something. It is rather... tiring after so long.

 

Perhaps people have just run out of things to talk about. Who knows?

why can't we all just have our own opinions? One thing that I liked about this forum was that no one seemed to intentionally piss other people off like on other forums. I'm seeing my first glimpse of it here. Coldplay snobbery guys...please lighten up a bit. I'm sure people don't mean anything by it and certainly wouldn't want to offend anyone. If you don't like it, no one is forcing you to click on the thread. I think the titles are pretty self explanatory.

 

Besides, tHere are far more general coldplay news threads in here than the other sort. :smiley:

I agree there is a limit, and lately I've found the poll topics and 20+ body part threads to be a little out of hand. But no one has the right to say what can and can't be discussed. This bickering is just stupid and isn't going to change anything. I would hate to see this place turn into the offical boards where everyone is trying to bite each others heads off 24/7. Yikkes.

The first one was too much, but it was an nasty prank, so I get how it was started.

 

The second one on the temp board was when I got really really really creeped out.

Well to be honest I don't see the difference from the 'old days' and the 'Nowadays' on this section because back then...well we did had some threads like the ones we have now(I'm talking about the pictures threads)..except that there weren't a lot of those threads in the first page or second page on this section and if it was, it was only maybe 3 of them, the most 5 maybe.

 

So it is annoying to see the first page & second page full of those type of threads specially when Coldplay has an album out. Back then it was 'ok' to make those type of threads..because well.. there wasn't really much to talk about except to wonder when Coldplay was gonna release their new album, if Gwynie poo (a cute little nickname we gave her :lol: :P ) was really gonna do back vocals, when Apple was gonna born, what name Chris's baby gonna be, if it was gonna be a girl or a boy, who was it gonna look like and that was pretty much it. There were really no articles of the band out yet and old pictures were the only things we had to talk about..and Apple helped a lot ;)

 

So now that the album is out.. There are no articles out or what?:huh: I want to go and buy some new magazines with Coldplay on the front cover page :wink: (let me know if any are coming out soon) Scan some articles, there's hardly ever any articles of Coldplay over here. I want to read what journalists are writting out there and their reviews of a Coldplay concert :D

I think it's okay. I don't really mind the threads, but what the others are trying to say (or at least I think that's what they are trying to say).. is that when it becomes something of everyday is when it starts getting annoying. If it was something of just one day.. I'm sure no one would have even brought it up :idea2: :wink:

This section of the board had change a little bit,but I do not see the problem on it.

The first time I came here I saw a differents threads like what's you favorite Song?,or how do you start to listen Coldplay?,and some other threads.

 

There are similar threads now,just you have to find it.There are many others threads too,you could not like those,or you could like it,that is up to all you.

 

If this is a girly thread or a girly section,good for them.

If they want to talk about body parts(even if this is not anatomic board :lol:)is ok.

 

I post where I want and I post what I want,and talk about I want.

If I am wrong,I don't really care,as long as I don't break the rules of this board.

 

I am not sure but I don't think that there is manual about how you have to post in a forum,and if there is one too bad I am too lazy to read it.(I will wait till the movie come out :lol:)
