Firstly, you're making inaccurate assumptions about me and I don't appreciate it. And secondly, most of my posts aren't here. You can ask anyone in this thread if I'm a frequent visitor and they'd tell you no. In fact, I doubt any of them even really know who I am.

 

My username should be proof enough of what interests me. And if that's not enough for you, I'm also co-mod of a Coldplay forum elsewhere. And yes, there is a thread for Chris/Gwyneth and their family at my board. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

 

And let's be honest here. You posted what you did because you wanted to provoke a reaction. You said so yourself.

It is extremely hypocrytical to use the fact that we dont know Goopy as a reason to say we cant dislike her

but then turn around and say how great she is when you know her as much as we do.

If this were a forum about Gwyneth ... different story.

But its not, which adds to the irritation that comes with seeing a thread about her where it Clearly does not belong and then people completely fawning over the most minute move she makes.

 

Up until Anette addressed it, there was no thread for Jonny or Wills wives because they're not celebrities, we evened out the playing field a bit with threads for them. And I guarantee you that if this thread wasn't constantly active with nothingness... there would be no need for complaint from the other camp. And the fact that people get so upset about topics being in the wrong thread and then this thing is constantly popping up in the coldplay section, furthers the agravation even more. But its like Cobalt said .. it wont be moved till the sheep go "bah"

 

... Bottom line

if you guys have the right to have a thread devoted to her every move... in the wrong section at that (because 99% of the time it does not involve Coldplay) ...then Others have the right to dislike her and say so.

 

Its something to think about next time you go complaining and looking hypocritical.

Well, do you think Chris is awesome? What about Jonny? And Will and Guy? I'm sure you do. And you don't know them either. Furthermore, would Chris marry and have children with someone so awful as everyone seems to think Gwyneth is? What would that say about him? That's something to think about.

 

You can hate Gwyneth and whoever else for all I care. That doesn't concern me. But when someone comes in here insulting people because they DO like her.. that's blatantly wrong. Speaking for myself, I think Gwyneth is a great actress, very intelligent and a classy woman. That's my impression of her. To know her personally.. could my impression be wrong? Certainly. And the same can be said for your dislike. The difference is I'm not blasting anyone for their preference. And that's all this is. A preference and a difference of opinion. There are a multiple of ways one can express themselves without making a spectacle.

She is lovely, and no matter what anyone's opinions are, (everyone's) entitled to one, in MY opinion Chris is madly in love with this woman and his children and in a small way IS connected to Coldplay, so therefore this thread is in the right section.
