Awesome! Thank you! :)

Of course, no problem :)

Chris wrote a duet for them?

Yeah, he said in one of the interviews in L.America that he'd written a "country song, for someone else to sing" :D

Thanks for the scan Monica, she looks great! And I see Neal Casal in the background!!! :awesome:

Edit: Found it :D

Paltrow Calls For Clean Energy Use

GWYNETH PALTROW is urging the public to become more environmentally-friendly in the wake of the Gulf Coast oil spill.

The Hollywood actress is angry about the thousands of gallons of crude that spewed into the sea after a BP rig ruptured in April (10) and she's convinced the catastrophe should encourage the use of renewable energy sources over fossil fuels.

And Paltrow is urging her fans to help out by making their own homes environmentally-friendly - she has dished out tips and advice in her weekly Goop newsletter, including passages from a book by environmentalist Amanda Little and lists of everyday hints that can help families go green.

The Iron Man star advises switching to energy-saving light bulbs, installing proper home insulation and reducing meat consumption. Paltrow also stresses the benefits of recycling, swapping cars for public transport and cutting down on air travel.

She writes, "Not only (do we need) to understand the ways in which fossil fuel consumption has shaped us, but what we can now do to lessen (or even end) our dependence on this dwindling resource

Now all the haters will come out because the following written last year in an article..Of course they will say she is a hypocrite...

They may shout their green credentials from the rooftops, but some of Britain’s most prominent environmental champions are living in homes that produce up to half a ton of excess carbon dioxide a year.

An audit of properties, measuring heat loss, has revealed that Chris Martin, the pop star, Boris Johnson, the mayor of London, and Sir David Attenborough, the broadcaster, are among those who reside in homes that are “leaking” energy. Some lack even the most basic energy saving measures such as cavity wall insulation and double glazing.

Think globally, neglect locally!

Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, and his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, the actress, have both championed green issues. Paltrow backed the American “Act Green” energy conservation campaign, while Martin tried to offset CO2 emissions produced by his band’s second album by planting a forest of mango trees in India.

Yet the couple’s £2.5m home in Belsize Park, north London, wastes 1,020kWh of heat a year. A spokesman for Martin refused to comment.

goop.com - throw up in mouth

Hey all, I'm sure that I'm probably the last one to find out about goop.com, but truly I had no idea. Gwyneth's website sort of made me laugh in this amused-surprised-not sure i should be laughing as I love Coldplay and wouldn't want to insult Chris's wife- way.

I just hoped there could be a brief discussion about this site and whether people enjoy it or do not. If this should be in the Gwyneth thread so be it, but I thought it was funny/odd/unique enough to stand alone. (I...uh...have also never been in her thread...so I wasn't sure if this was discussed)

The "..." are present because I wasn't sure if it would be considered sacrilege to not have been in that thread.

But anyways....

What do you all think of GOOP.COM!?!?!

I was about to remove your thread :(

You should remove it anyway. :cheesy:

jk!

To be on topic... I couldn't care less about goop.

it looks cool,

but I don't get the point of it..

I think it's a nice idea sharing what you've experienced with other people just like many other bloggers that aren't famous do. However, it is also reaaaally self-indulgent.

I think it's cool. And if anyone doesn't like it, they can simply unsubscribe.

i think the recipes are great.i love cooking so I've done a few of them.I also like the "go" part...restaurants :)

hey everyone, just so you know, i wasn't trying to be malicious or anything at all like that. i had never seen the site before and i found it a little funny. and...as someone said...self-indulgent. but i wasn't trying to bother anyone with my comments, so if I did I'm truly sorry
