Hey, it can't be that bad! I saw them together on TV (briefly) during their cuisine travels for earthy home-cooked local foods of Spain. Chris was busy changing diapers, and Gwyneth went out galavanting with Batali & company. It looked like they were all having a good time together!!

Anyhow, I think it's sad the pressures we put on image so much, that it pushes anyone to undergo cosmetic surgery (unless you've got a cleft lip or something like that). Well, it's a fact of life I guess - I just hope the new implants are safe.

But yes, it's hard for anyone with to feel for those without, unless they remember times when they were younger, and life was hard. Maybe she's just going through a moment in her life when she's doing something she's always dreamed of doing?? What would you want to her to be doing, Roberta?

I know it's kinda insensitive to be flaunting the good life during a recession, but she's into local foods, and helping local economies - and considering that most stars don't even attempt to relate to those earthy things, I think she deserves credit at least for that..

I love how when you search google news for Coldplay now the main articles returned either say she's getting divorced or having a baby. You'd think the two sets of rumor starters would at least get their stories straight. :laugh3:

Of course, for a year there were reports that Madonna and Guy's marriage was in trouble and they had friends refute it and publicists put out statements to the contrary.....

Yeah, but it's a gossip arms race. The groups that report it first, true or false at the time, get to gloat later if it ever happens, and in the meantime they sell more/get more visitors.

 

This rumor starts about every significant couple at some point in time and it has no bearing on whether it ever actually comes true. It gets passed on more when there are reasons to believe it no matter how subjective they are- Chris is on tour, Gwyneth is skinny and in public alone, and Madonna has been denying rumors for awhile. Is it in any way indicative of their actual relationship either way? No. Is it even worth waisting this much breath on? No. I'm done.

Well, Madonna is a Detroit babe:gorgeous:, and Gwyneth is a Los Angeles Chick (by way of the Berkshires), so she's a combination of laid-back California:sunny:, and sophisticated east-coasters:earmuffs:. So, they're really non-identical, and you can't believe everything you read (case in point - just look at this site!!:P (no offense Ian;)) So, there! I know, I know, there's probably (I'm just guessing here) a few who are hoping for some sort of break-up, and then they can chase after Chris.. but really, I'm thinking this is mostly tabloid fluff. They never put stuff in those tabloids, like: "Stars wed and have a happy, harmonious, stable life together". That just doesn't sell like a controversy! Speaking of which, did you hear what I heard about this Space Cadet Chick??:laugh3:

Yea, it was on PBS about a month or two ago.. something "travels through Spain" shoot - I wish I could recall all the details! Anyhow, you can probably get a copy of it through PBS on their website, or maybe even download some clips - I'm not well versed in the downloading business, but I'm sure you can get a copy somehow.. Mostly it was Batali and Gwyneth and one other actress (names escape me sometimes - was it Kate Moss?, and some fellow from the NY Times - a most humorous food critic! My mind grows foggy -it's been a while; the only shot of Chris was when the camera panned away from where they were staying, and there was Chis helping take care of one of their children, with Gwyneth by his side. But of your a true fan, it's worth a look-see.:P

Well, that was such a short moment in the program, I can only recommend going to PBS's website, and searching for the tape of it. It was but an instant - one camera glance. I can't recall where they were in the program.. Wish I could offer more help!;)
