OMG I just had a conference at my school about purchasing & logistic professions, and there was a woman who looked SO MUCH like Gwyneth it was WEIRD :wtf:

I couldn't concentrate on the conference (which honestly was already boring), all I could think about was the resemblance between the 2 women :lol:

Seems like Gwyneth’s taken a break from buying presents for Baby Blue Ivy or furiously tapping out Goop newsletters to resume her position as the face of Coach. Here’s a first look at the Oscar-winning actresses breezy shoot for the heritage handbag’s Spring 2012 collection.

 

It’s the second time Gwyneth, known for her discerning fashion tastes, has represented Coach in campaigns. Like the last shots, these were taken by the legendary Peter Lindbergh in New York. Gwyneth is shown posing with the Willis and Madison Lindsey bags – two of her personal favourites, it’s said.

 

 

Coach was founded in 1941 in a New York loft and has steadily become the go-to accessory brand for New Yorkers. So it perhaps wasn’t a huge surprise when the brand tapped up Gwyneth last year to represent them for their 70th birthday celebrations. She was born in the Big Apple and has just released a Goop travel guide to the city, showing her most loved shopping, eating and drinking haunts, which has already become a besteller on iTunes.

Meanwhile, I'll just summarize the interview for those interested:

 

Krista Smith is a Vanity Fair editor. I was a bit annoyed that she had a couple of errors for very easily googleble things like year of marriage and such.

 

Interview was at Krista Smith's house in California.

 

Gwyneth disclosed that she slept in the tank top she was wearing in the interview, with her kids.

Achieved so much by 26 yrs of age, but wasn't happiest at 30. Things happened fast, lost father, met husband, had a baby then another.

Touched on Postpartum depression she suffered after the birth of Moses.

What do you feel most confident that you do well with your kids?

I have a lot of respect for them, I see them as individuals. They're very emotionally articulate people. Example, the other day we were both super-tired. I had taken them to this crazy kids party. There were Reggae band, entertainers, pirates, etc. It was so loud. They were having the best time of their lives and didn't want to leave. We got home and they were shattered, tired and were sobbing. We were in the tub and my daughter got out 1st. I asked her to hand me the towel behind her so I could get her brother and myself out. But she was worried that this scary image she had seen in Harry Potter was going to be in the room if she turned around. She was like I can't do it. Finally I said: Seriously hand me the towel, I've gotta get out! Apple was like: I'm 7 yrs old, I'm a child, and you need to respect my fears. And BTW you told me 3 months ago that you were going to work on yourself and your patience.

 

What's your fear or insecurity? Fear of hurting them, a fear that I could have done better, and now they are wounded. But I also realized that I can't protect them from being hurt.

 

I always have a bad hair day unless David is there to do my hair.

 

Worked on My Fathers Daughter book for 3 yrs. I was reading the intro during a presentation the other day in England and I didn't want to cry, especially in England. You're not allowed to cry in England.

I make my dad's pancakes for my children but can't bring myself to eat them.

How do you handle haters? I realized that people who are negative and have anger to express, it's not about me, they don't know me. They're projecting their own pain, anger, venom onto a picture of me, and they need to do that for whatever reason. But I don't take that on b/c it's not me. I've never been afraid to express my opinion. Culturally it's more dangerous for a woman than for a man. But I'm still going to be myself, I'm still going to tweet ( or is it twitt) marginally dirty things. It's just who I am.

 

How many times a week do you cook? In London, I cook 4-6 nights a week. Never thought I'd raise my children in London but my husband works there. It's not as flexible for him as it is for me.

 

Do you miss America? Yes, and it's getting worse as I get older. London has amazing things too but you miss your family and your friends. You kind of want to be around your girlfriends. I have 2 amazing good friends in London that I love.
