  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

I LOVE A Ladder to the Sun. One of Chris's best songs ever. Wish he would play it on the upcoming tour.

That song  It's amazing despite its simplicity! A wonderful C major :dazzled:

It's because any songs they create, be it very complex or not, is awesomely stunning! :wacky:

On Monday it will have been one week since MX's release! :dazzled: :elephant:

I've been listening to MX and Florence + The Machine's "Ceremonials" nonstop for the past week now. :wacky: :awesome:

I've also watched EVERY SINGLE PERFORMANCE THEY'VE HAD ON TV THESE PAST FEW WEEKS!

Ahhh...I keep imagining all these new songs live. I don't know that I'll be front row center, but I'll be at one or more of the Toronto shows and I'm already giddy even though they haven't been scheduled yet!:D

^Ooh, thank you for the info. Just voted.

I just set up my computer so it starts singing "Cause I feel low, oh no!" etc. when the battery is low.

That is so brilliant. :awesome: Why didn't I think of that? However, "Low" is a bit depressing to me. :P

I just found a document with a birthday message I sent Jonny in 2008 via email, hehe. :P It says:

"Dear Jonathan Mark Buckland aka Jonny Buckland,

HAPPY 31st BIRTHDAY! As a fan of your’s I send you my best wishes and hope that you’ve had a great birthday and that you will have a lot more great days to come.

Thank you for your amazing guitar playing, great personality, lovely smile, caring for your fans, musical brilliance, nice humour and a lot more.

Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to experience you and the rest of Coldplay live yet, but I hope that day will come soon.

Please may your life be joyful and filled with lots of love.

Love Julie (a huge Coldplay fan!)."

I've learned one thing since 2008. It's yours, not your's. :P

Funnily enough, I think it's the only direct birthday message I've sent any of the boys (besides tweets) and I'm more of a Chrissy girl than a Jonny girl.

One day I must bake something for Chris' birthday. :nice: No, I will not send it to him, ew.

Me too! I don't know that ill be front and center either, but that's why I feel like crying of joy when I imagine being so close to them, especially at a venue like the Fillmore in SF!

I can't wait to hear the new new songs live :D

I had the pleasure in 06. Another couple of feet and I could have touched them. There's nothing like it! But even further back, it's still beyond words. :D

I'm almost at the end of my Coldplay fest!

Only half an hour until my first listen of MX. :awesome:

I can't go anywhere without hearing/seeing something about them. I'm surrounded by Coldplay and LOVING it!

So much for Rule 6,lol.:p

I just got called a coldplay die-hard fan and it made me happy, proud to be a die-hard fan of such an amazing band!

On the news this moring on BBC 24 the traffic report for the S/E mentioned somethng about Charlie Brown or maybe Charlie Browns. Is it the name of a traffic intersection or s/thing? and has that got anything to do with the song. Anyone down there know? Thanks.

There's a radio quiz right now that just used Paradise. You hear a bit of a song and the person who's got through on the radio has to guess the artist and song. The host said it was the difficult one in the bunch today. Tthe other two songs were a really crappy, Danish pop song and a less crappy, Danish pop song. So I guess Paradise fits in as being a slightly crappy, English pop song. Sorry, I couldn't resist. :shy:

Anyway, the first guy on the phone had no clue, the next guessed it was Paradise easily.

Chris would love this! Calling Paradise 'slightly less crappy' is something he'd say, lol. :laugh2:

Haha, I do find that my personality resembles Chris' on some points. :P He's way more awesome in all aspects, though. :wacky: It probably sounds narcissistic that I have a huge crush on him, then. Believe me, it's not like that. :uhoh:

Coldplay @ The Simpsons in Germany tomorrow ;)

I'm going to be a member of Coldplay for Halloween :D I'm just going to be a member in general. I just need some fabric for my VLV military jacket :)

^ I was gonna do that, until my mom decided to go out and buy a butterfly costume for me instead... :bigcry: But it's a pretty awesome costume though and besides, butterflies are a Coldplay related subject! :D

Hahaha this is great! Today it would be amazing to wear a Charlie Brown mask too. :D But I don't have one. :(
