Do you guys remember when they used to play Blue Danube before coming on stage, then the lights would go out and Life in Technicolor would begin playing. :wacky: I remember this all clearly still and how excited I was to be seeing Coldplay for the first time. It was also my first concert in general. When Blue Danube started playing, I knew it was time and I was just so happy and smiling. What great memories I have of that day. So it's been 4 years exactly since I saw them and I love them more than ever. I was a freshman in high school and now I'm a freshman in college. It's crazy how the time flies. I've seen them 4 more times in between these 4 years but I will always remember that first concert and how special it was. I love the MX era, but I have to say I still miss the Viva era. I have a bit of nostalgia. :P Well anyways...I can't wait to see what memories I'll have of Coldplay 4 more years from now!

I remember once I watched an interview from the Viva era, and they showed some short live footage from an outdoor show and the crowd was huge. At some point they showed a few seconds of that Blue Danube moment before the concert, and I had goosebumps, chills, shivers, you name it. This is one of the main reasons I wish I had been a fan and had been to one of their concerts during the Viva era, it must have been an amazing thing to witness and be a part of.

I believe that Coldplaying is the best forum around~

I say this because there isn't a sense of hostility here like I dunno, the Muse forum. (No offense Musers, I'm one too.)

Yes, it's was something quite amazing to witness..but then I think the same as you with other eras that I wish I could have been in the X&Y era, AROBTTH, Parachutes...haha all of them! I think there's something special with each of them. For me the Viva era though will probably always be the most special because it is what started it all for me.

Congrats. :cheesy:

That was a great video! It captured the beginning perfectly! :D Yeah the BTTF theme beginning was also quite exciting! :D I think it's cool how we have these little hints before every show that only a very close follower of the shows will know that the show is about to start. :P

That was exciting. I wish I could go back to my Viva concert over and over.

Me too...good thing there are videos floating around. :) I so wish Coldplay had made a Live 2008-2010 documenting the Viva tour too though! It would have been so great to have!

Oh My GOD! I just won a glowing coldplay poster! The cinema that was showing Live 2012 organized a competition where you could won glowing in the dark poster with coldplay and you had to record a vide where you're talking about your feelings and basically how awesome Live 2012 is and the concert and coldplay. They said they're going to show the videos to coldplay, which I can't really believe, but still OH MY GOD! There were also other people who won and all of them was from Polish Coldplay Forum (coldplace.eu) :awesome:

I can't wait to see my lovely poster! And it's such a good suprise since I've never won anything and they canceled my Live 2012 pre order with litho poster. So now I'll have a glowing one! :wacky:

Awesome!

So my brother is officially not a big Coldplay fan anymore. He asked me if he could use the last 2 dollers off my iTunes card to buy a song. I said no, because it's my money. He responds with, "no you just don't want me to buy a song by a band you haven't heard of" "There's better music out there than Coldplay". I feel I should punish him..Then again it's his choice. :blank:

I watched on Youtube a slightly re-edited version of The South Bank Show (for some reason they cut out all the interviewer's parts). My new favorite part: in the dressing room at the

Grammys Chris is singing VLV, he looks around and says "Where did everybody go?? I thought we were going to go through this!" Everybody just left him!

It's at home, but I could try when I get home from work. It was called Multishow if you have access to Youtube right now (I don't).
