i'm listening to heaps of coldplay songs now because i need to get back into that REALLY obsessive coldplay mood again, since i want to write a full review of the concert i attended back in september for my school's newspaper! :flutterby:

i was walking my dog, and we came along another dog, a golden retriever.

 

THE DOGGIE'S NAME WAS JONNY, SO GUESS WHAT I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF.

 

and.......i don't even think i have to tell you what the guys name was....

I was just walking around Target (for non-US peeps its a store that basically has everything you need, at reasonable prices, but not cheap like WalMart hehe), and saw a shirt that made me stop and smile and think of all us here obsessed with Coldplay. It was t-shirt that said AMSTERDAM like 10 times down the front. Of course it's referring to the city, but in my mind, it's all about the song!!! So, duh, I bought it and that is what I'll be wearing in a few weeks when I go to see the band!!!:D

 

It was one of those Coldplay moments, when something totally normal is somehow related to them & thus made special...I mean, I saw that shirt the day after Chris sang it after how long...:P

 

(I just went to the website to see if they had it so I could link it and you guys could check it out, but they don't have it, but they do have THIS, so umm I might get that one too...I think one of the people who work at Target choosing what to stock is a Coldplay fan!:))

I had a weird Coldplay moment today too, although it was kind of "Coldplay-related".

Anyway I was painting (yes painting) and I had Parachutes CD on, and I am starting to work with the color yellow, when suddenly the song Yellow came on :D! It was so weird, but funny at the same time!

^ could you photograph your "amsterdam" shirt maybe? i'm so curious!

 

As you can see it's not really a Coldplay shirt, but since I'll wear it to a Coldplay concert, I think everyone will get it's about the song:D (and if they don't they shouldn't be there!!!!:smartass:)

the drunks next door have been blasting disco/pop/dance music for the past hour or so, but "the scientist" just came up in the mix, and i'm currently laughing (and enjoying the fact that i can hear it :nice:)

Those are some super awesome Target shirts! I definitely approve (and I kind of want the 42 one for myself)... and who doesn't just want to live at Target? I know I totally would.

even though i haven't seen them in concert yet, the album version of "lovers in japan" makes me think of the butterfly confetti floating all over the place :nice:

When I hear Lovers In Japan and Reign of Love I think of Chris and Japanese trees with its pink and red leafs falling and on the ground (and sometimes also the concert butterflies). :blush:

i always think of the crowd drowning in butterfly confetti when i listen to "lovers in japan".

it's such a good choice to let the butterflies "fly" to that particular song.

I have been listening to Glass of Water on repeat alllll day. I think my roommate is about to kill me. Oh well. She will just have to deal with my AWESOME taste in music! :P
