  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

I actually saw a thread that said they said no to Glee :smug: :laugh3:

But then there was an article saying Coldplay changed their mind. :uhoh: I don't know if it was a serious one, though.

I just watched storytellers. It was so good!

so i haven't been on in a long time because a family member is very ill and has been given a set time to live. but will now begin to post again. im glad to be back.

and when we found out i went over and walked in and immediately started singing yellow to her then fix you and she began to cry making coldplay mean more to me than ever.

I'm really sorry to hear that. :( But that's a really kind and sweet thing you did for her, David. :)

Welcome back. :nice:

Yesterday, 2 Colplay songs were performed at the Finnish version of X Factor... :shocked2:

i heard "a message" today at work, they ususally dont play it. :D

VH1, Denmark has changed a lot lately. It has also changed its programmes this week. When I checked Monday's = today's VH1, Denmark programme (it was in the middle of last week) it said: Monday at 9-10am: 2008 (good chance of a Coldplay song being played) and from 19-20: Superstar: Coldplay. When I looked again Friday, they had changed the programmes for the entire week, so now it is hits from the 90'es at 9-10am and VH1 hits from 19 to 21. When listening to VH1, Denmark today (not non-stop of course), I didn't hear Coldplay played once. Not so long ago Coldplay was played 3-4 times per day.

Since last Tuesday I have heard Chris Martin 3 times: 2 times on Tuesday in a programme called "Dan's" where a VJ named Dan plays various kind of music. Last Tuesday he played Kay West feat. Chris Martin in "Homecoming" between 18 and 19pm - that programme is repeated in the evening from 22 to 23. And the programme is also repeated on Saturday!

So I am convinced that Coldplayed is played less now on VH1, Denmark.

So Danish radio programmes such as P3 are probably playing more Coldplay now than VH1, Denmark. I turned on the radio last night at 23:55 (I am not sure what Danish radio station) and heard 2/3 of CLOCKS, before commercials interrupted the song (so the radio station was not P3).

Yesterday at BBC Entertainment's THE WEAKEST LINK there was a Coldplay question: It was about a Coldplay hit from 2005 with the lines: When you try your best, but you don't succeed. The person being asked the question had to say: PASS! The answer is of course: FIX YOU.

What is 'Glee'?

It's a new American TV show about a group of highschool misfits who form a glee club, where they sing and dance. I'd say it's a comedy with some drama.

Here's a clip . . .

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5fvIVgQThM]YouTube- Glee - New Promo[/ame]

I don't really watch it, but from what I've heard and seen, it's a fun show.

EDIT: They sing a lot of popular songs on the show. That's how the whole "Coldplay songs on GLEE" thing got brought up.

i think my French teacher overheard my conversation from the other day, because every example about a concert is about Coldplay now!

they were even on a test today! :cheesy:

^ OMG I would totally freak out and write things over it. Like: ''XD''

I already circle the names ''Guy'', ''Jon'', ''Chris'', or even the 42s I see. :awesome:

I dreamt that GLEE (yep, the TV show) sang "Fix You" for one of the episodes. I almost thought it was real. Not the singing, but that they chose "Fix You" and Coldplay let them use it.

MY WORST NIGHTMARE!!!!!:stunned: :o :wreck:

Glee! keep your cheesey talentless teeney bopper paws OFF Coldplay

Especially Fix You! :veryangry2:

i think i listened to goldrush about 42 times today :D

love that song:heart:

"i went digging for gold...."

I wonder what that guy's name at my school is that wore that Coldplay shirt the other day

:laugh3:

I TOTALLY DIDN'T FREAK OUT OR ANYTHING WHEN I SAW IT. *sarcasm*

aww thats so cool!

dont worry i wouldnt totally freak out either :P

I woke up at 6:42 today.

Everytime I looked at the clock during my gym class today it was something: 42. :wacky:

(I hate gymclass) (Shall Coldplay make them optionnal when they rule the world)

I always wondered what it would be like if Chris was my teacher :surprised:

See, now I'm all pervy :mean:

In my Physical education class today, my teacher made us walk a lap around the track backwards. I felt like Chris during the Scientist video. :P I started singing the song.

My Coldplay skin for my phone came today too.

I also had a dream right before I woke up that my sister was asking me to play Coldplay on my iPod and then Viva La Vida was playing but it was my alarm ringing. :P

every time i take off my jacket in the car i think of The Scientist video

Today I got hold of the free paper METROXPRESS, and there were these lines about COLDPLAY:

THE SONGS ARE POURING OUT

Coldplay are working hard on a new album, and the members of the British band have already written more than 50 songs after the end of their tour last month. The band members are so dedicated to the selection of new songs that they have to rate each song to find which songs are to make it to the next album.
