coldplay rocks

I've been playing X&Y and Parachutes nonstop lately. :thinking:

Well not nonstop, I'm listening to the Snakes on a Plane album right now. :laugh3:

But Chris was in my dream the other day too! And yeah, I really miss Coldplay. Waiting for new album.

^i miss them too. i keep thinking about how excited ill be when i come on here and read that theyre coming out with a new single on whatever day, and i try to imagine what the song will be like and what the video will be like and ahh. i feel like im drying up without new material.

 

i watched the toronto concert last night again, and all their music videos and chris martin on extras. it was a very coldplay night, and it was so nice to just sit on my bed and squeal and act all girly whenever a particularly good shot of chris came up. its not that i forgot how much i loved them or anything, but i dont know, it felt like i hadnt seen them in a long time or something. GOD chris is hot in the GPASUYF video, even if it is a bit of a crappy video in my opinion.

 

i really hope that they have zach braff direct one of their videos in the future. that would be too good to be true for me.

 

sorry about all my posting, but im on spring break and this is my favorite thread. you all are lucky ill be in philly all next week or else youd have to listen to me go on and on in here because ive got nothing better to do.:rolleyes:

realized that i kinda lost touch with coldplay.

of course, they're still my favourite band and i love their music, their lyrics, everything about them.

but i gotta admit that i've been listening to so many other bands lately...

and i do not even listen to coldplay at least once a day anymore. :(

i just have to get into that "coldplay mood". and somehow... i'm not ready to.

Yesterday on VH1 the 40 Hottest Rockstar Girlfriends and Wife countdown was on...and I FINALLY saw the part with Gwyneth. I always miss her part. Anyways she was number 15. And unlike all the other ones, hers wasn't like all sexed up and whatnot...it was like 'Awwwwww what a perfect couple'. :P

 

Today before homeroom this I was hanging out in my social studies teacher's class (that's where me and my friends hang out in the morning...:P). This kid randomly asks my social studies teacher if he listens to Coldplay, and he answers no. So the kid's like 'good...' and I got all worked up about and said, 'What's wrong with liking Coldplay?!?!?!? I love Coldplay!!' And you know what he said? 'Well it's okay because you are a girl.....' :rolleyes: Than he asks me if I have seen the '40 Year Old Virgin'..... >.< I wanted to smack him so hard. What an ass.

 

 

I was just listening to the radio, and there was this song by Fountains of Wayne called 'Someone to Love' and I thought they mentioned Coldplay. And I'm like 'What??? I must be crazy'. But then I checked the lyrics online and they did say Coldplay! Haha!

 

The song goes:

Wow. Coldplay is everywhere. :P

Not really a random Coldplay thought, but I noticed Coldplay's myspace doesn't accept add requests from bands, so I sent whoever looks after it a message explaining what we're doing with the CD and asked them to consider adding us. Cross your fingers. We could be one of the few groups on myspace that get a friend request from them,lol.:lol:

Today on Temptation one of the questions was something along the lines of "Which band comprises of members Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Chris Martin?" I was just like 'Coldpay!!' straight away, before the question was even over and after a second or two of silence one of the people buzzed in with "Coldplay". My heart did this funny flip when the question was first starting and I heard Guy's name. I love when Coldplay is a part of TV shows somehow!

 

Also, I started my job today (first ever paid work). I work at point of sale (i.e. cashier) in Acer Arena - formerly Sydney SuperDome - and there'll be quite a few different concerts/events on there (atm it's Hillsong, but there will be AVMAs and Chili Peppers and Keith Urban and Beyonce soon) and I WISH that when Coldplay comes back to Australia they'll play at Acer coz then I have this MASSIVE chance of running into them and their crew etc and it'll be SO amazingly COOL!! But I'll lose my job if I ask for a pic or autograph whilst on the job. So I'd have to stay back after work to stalk them. :D :wacko:

Coldplaay rock

yesterday i was in target and they had this display of 'CDs YOU MUST OWN' or whatever, and all three coldplay albums were on the top shelf! also radioheads ok computer, keane, snow patrol, oasis, the killers, the fray, the beatles, U2, etc. it really restored my feeling about my own music, because ive been somewhat down on myself about it recently, thanks to my friends who say i dont listen to "real" music most of the time.

 

GOD chris is hot in the GPASUYF video. i know i said that before, but jesus is it true.

i watched the rock and roll hall of fame thing last night mainly to see if i could catch sight of chris, but nothing. perhaps the back of his head near the end, but he was wearing a hat so i couldnt tell. ah, well. i always watch it anyway.

 

im going to philly PA for a week, so i wont be on here at all. i know, everyone's probably crying their eyes out...:laugh1: anyway, see you all!
