I woke up today to the sound of 'Yellow'! I set the alarm to radio, and when it went off I had Chris's sweet melodic voice waking me up. :nice:

so i couldnt come here on chris's birthday, which made me sad, but it was the opening night of the play at my school and im the tech/crew director. i wore my coldplay shirt and my adidas and black cargo pants though! anyway, its a tradition for the show's director to give all the crew members matching hats for each performance, like last year we got police hats, etc. so this year we get ready to start the show and our director gives us....

JONNY BUCKLAND HATS!!! like the one he wore for a good part of the X&Y tour!!! and chris has one like it as well! it made me so happy and was so fitting because it was chris's birthday!!

it's black like jonny's, but it has red and grey argile on one side, but thats ok. and its slightly too small for my head and when i get it to work it looks pretty emo and terrible, but I DONT CARE, I GOT A COLDPLAY HAT ON CHRIS'S BIRTHDAY!

 

yeah, im a bit insane. lack of sleep. 7 shows in a week.

On Sunday I went to Bronte beach with three of my friends and I was all super-excited when we got there because Coldplay went there when they were in Sydney (I remember Chris saying something about walking past Bronte beach surf club, which I assume is the Bronte Beach Surf Lifesaving Club) and I'm like "Oh. My. GOSH. They walked on this very ground..." Lol, stalker.

 

Then we walked near the Entertainment Centre when we were waiting for our train.. such a beautiful day for memories and Coldplay.

 

Then the next day, Monday (just for those of you who don't know the days of the week :rolleyes: ), one of my uni lecturers was named Guy and then that night I was watching Brothers and Sisters and some extra lady was named Mrs Berryman :D . Cool.

 

And then even later that night Speed of Sound came on the radio with Chris and Jonny talking a bit before the song (saying how wonderful the radio station, Nova, is).

 

I wore one of my Coldplay tops to Uni yesterday.

^ A few weeks back I saw a list of students of our year and there was somone called Guy! I got all exited. I mean, it's just a name, I know, but it certainly isn't common in Germany...

My bus driver always turns the radio up really loud on the bus, so I bring my iPod, because the music is shit.

 

 

But while I was listening to my iPod, I faintly heard a familiar song on the radio. And it was 'Speed of sound'.

The other day I was reading the newspaper and in the entertainment section I saw that article about Coldplay's press conference where Chris was talking about the new album. When I saw it I went, "What the hell?! :freak:"

It shocked me! lol

My random thought is: I MISS THEM!

I really miss them. I remember the time they were here and it makes me sad

In My Place was on VH1's 40... Pranks show. I forgot what it was called exactly. :laugh4: But it made me smile.

^ Chris and Gwenyth were on VH1's Hotalicious (?) Couples list. And everyone apparently owes it to them that there is now and obsession with A: celebrity babies (i remember once on a baby countdown someone said Apple started the celeb baby trend, coz before that not many celeb babies were known... or something)

and B: weird baby names.

I had a dream about Coldplay but I forgot it. :confused:

And I have this Video Game, "NBA Live 2002" and I was looking at the case today and I thought it said "Live 2003."

I haven't seen Live 2003 in a while, I think I'll watch it today. :D

i got 2 new t-shirts today: one is by volcom stone, the same company that chris's current hat is made by and the jacket he wears in the scientist and some hoodies...and the other is of all these little cartoon cars drving over hills and it looks EXACTLY like that shot in the "dont panic" video with all the little cars and trucks driving over hills in time to the song.

 

i'm seeing chris and jonny hats all over the place now...i guess theyre popular!

I miss them so much. Whenever I listen to the b-side CD it reminds me of January 2006, when my last CP concert was. That was when we listened to it like ALL the time because we were so excited about going...

had a depressing convo about music today in which basically all my friends bashed the music i love. they werent doing to make fun of me for once, we were having a serious, constructive conversation, but basically they say coldplay (and snow patrol, the fray, oasis, etc) arent worth much because they arent original and they all sound the same, according to my friends who listen to "real" music, apparently. it just makes me angry, because coldplay is no less qualified than other bands. its just what youre into and its so hard to judge artistic worth between people. argh.

coldplay is my love, no matter what anyone says.

was in the apple store today with my mom. on the big poster that compares all the ipods to each other in terms of price and capacity, etc, the pic of the video ipod has a video on the screen, and its a shot of jonny in the speed of sound video! i could tell from across the store that there was a picture of coldplay on the poster, even though it was tiny. i told my mom and she just rolled her eyes.

Yeah I get that response too when I mention Coldplay. :laugh4:

One of my friend's favorite band is Thursday and she was like, "They give me hope sometimes."

yesterday my mom was screaming at me to get up, but i wouldnt. so she turned on coldplay pretty loudly on the stereo downstairs and i went down to hear it and the second she saw me she was like "HAAA! I knew that would get you up!"

...foiled again.

 

and this morning as i came downstairs my brother was watching MTV and "fix you" video was just ending. i squealed a little bit and he yelled "oh, get a life! it's over anyway!"

^About that thing you said in the Apple store, that happened to me once too, there was this poster with iPods on it and it had the X&Y cover ... I was like OMG OMG!!

Watched the World Music Awards the other night and Nelly Furtado sang All Good Things Must Come An End... the whole time I kept thinking "Hey that's Chris's song!" ... he should be there singing it with her. It didn't sound right without his voice and I really like that song... but the demo one with his voice! And they also showed Coldplay video shot of Hardest Part for best rock song... but Nickelback got it... but it was still cool to see Chris he was doin his dance part on it!

The other day I when into a shop that sells different things for the house, decoration and stuff. And they had the 'Babies go..." cds. So they had the "Babies go U2", "Babies go Mozart" etc. And they didn't have the "Babies go Coldplay" so I was :angry:

i preordered the singles box set last night. i cant wait for it to get here, even if i do have to wait about a month. gah. and it comes with a free coffee mug! ill certainly use that in college next year...i wanted to get the messenger bag as well, but im basically broke.

 

chris was in my dream last night, though i dont remember anything else besides his presence.

 

currently trying to burn the toronto concert to a CD so i can watch it whenever i want (long story why i cant), but im having difficulties. dammit.
