Chris Martin Gets The Chop! [Not on Nellys Album!]

Featured Replies

A duet between Chris Martin and Nelly Furtado has been mysteriously dropped from the Canadian songstress’s comeback album.

Martin had recorded the track ‘All Good Things’ for Furtado’s Timbaland produced long player but the song has apparently been removed at the request of Coldplay’s label.

A source told the Daily Star: “nelly and Chris don’t have a problem and loved every minute of working together. You can even hear them having a laugh at the end of the song.”

“But three days ago the order came through to remove it from the album. It seems EMI have a problem rather than either of the artists. I don’t know if Chris knows yet but when he finds out he’ll be furious.”

Martin had previously recorded vocals for The Streets track ‘Dry Your Eyes’ but that was also pulled by EMI.

There are other bands such as Marillion that have done this successfully, so I don't see why not!!:)

Thats so disappointing, after hearing about how much fun Chris had had and everything. Gawd, EMI are such control freaks.:veryangry: :veryangry: :veryangry:

You know what I meant.

sorry i just get irritated when people refer to it as chris.

no bitchiness intended.

Oh I know,

I just meant he should chop his label

when it comes to them messing up things that

have nothing to do with EMI.

You know what I mean.

Im no good at explaining myself.

haha

Chris Martin Track Not To Feature On Album

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MEH!!!

I thought that this track would be the only saving grace on a Chav-album. It's just not to be.....

Apparently Chris's record company EMI won't allow it.

I got the info from today's Daily Star Newspaper.

if it's true...

i would release this song as "free download" and put it to the internet

which would make emi angrier :veryangry2:

they're such bastarrdddsss

Man...that's just not right anymore ohno.gif

if it's true...

i would release this song as "free download" and put it to the internet

yeah! release it:D

but, it's likely at some point that we'll get to hear it, right?

because I've heard the "dry your eyes" song by the Streets that got chopped... so there's a good chance it'll make it's way onto the internet somehow?

or did the Streets release that song later.. or..?
