well, i hope Chris and Jonny will do some acoustic (charity) mini-gigs this year

 

and yes, they deserve it...i think they are tired of playing the same setlist every time

yea touring the world.. being away from alot of different events and loved ones. They deserve a long breather.

Its been a great tour, but its time to finish I think now....!

i say congrats to 'em! jebus, it's been a long haul i'd say. can't wait for the next cd/dvd/tour whatever they plan :D

this is the time in which i share the most bizarre of feelings. Im happy because they are resting (well, because they are indeed humans:nice:) and that they can go back to the studio and write songs as well as get back some old lost energy while touring.

but at the same time, i so wish they were touring again. i seriously cannot wait for that DVD. :cry::cry:

I feel the same as a lot of you guys on here. I'll be watching the new dvd (whenever it comes out) to get by until they tour again. It's funny to think of what my life might be like when that happens - my husband and I are planning on starting a family soon and it's funny to think I could have a baby (or be pregnant) when they tour again. Let's just hope my child isn't ready for kindergarten by the next tour. ;) Seriously tho - they deserve a HUGE rest and some time with their families.

everyone thinks the DVD will be released in october..

i dont think the album will be 2 years.... it takes like half or a full year to make and release. however that doesnt include however long of a break they take.

Its starting all over again!!Where we wait and wait to hear new things from the boys.I kinda love this part.Just sitting and waiting to hear new things, and see the boys make a public appearence here and there.I love the waiting and the excitement.I cant wait for the new album and the new DVD!!!

Next tour a want Coldplay in Brazil....

I don't don't know what I feel right now... it's a mixture of sadness and happiness cos I know I won't being hearing new tunes for awhile, but I know they totally deserve a long break to be with their family. I may not know how it is to run by these grueling schedules and to perform on stage almost every night, but I do know that they have worked tremendously hard and a break should definitely be their reward.

 

I'm not one who likes to play the waiting game, but then again, it builds my anticipation and brings something to look forward to :)

My Coldplay stuff has increased by like a thousand since seeing them in concert for the first time last August. Their Twisted Logic Tour ending is like... the end of a huge era. And now I'm already getting curious about the next. :smug:

like most other people on here, i also have mixed feelings. happy for them they definately derserve the time off. and i glad to see them be themselves and not be coldplay all the time. but also sad cos of the waiting and not knowing when! but at least knowing something will be coming lifts my sprits!

 

so i say a HUGE CONGRATS to them for such a fantastic tour, and wish them all the best for their break!
