January 11, 200818 yr when do they expect the album to come out? Whenever they get around to signing a new record deal  They are like Radiohead in that sense, a band who finished with their old record label and not wanting to go back, however they won't do a radiohead and give the record away.

January 30, 200818 yr its funny how Be Here Now is consistantly seen as their worst album, from what ive heard its classic Oasis, the clueless band who make great feel good rock anthems. Oh and I can't see the artwork.

February 17, 200818 yr Radiohead beaten to top spot by Oasis Oxford rock band Radiohead have seen their 1997 masterpiece OK Computer voted the third best British album. Britpop veterans Oasis have demonstrated their place in music lovers' hearts by securing first and second places in the new chart. The Gallagher brothers' 1994 debut, Definitely Maybe, came top in the poll by music magazine Q and retailer HMV to find the 50 "Best Ever British Albums". Radiohead's came third in the poll, followed by The Beatles' Revolver and The Stone Roses' self-titled debut. The group also see their second album The Bends come in at number 11 and latest offering In Rainbows make the number 40 spot. The rock-dominated chart also features records by The Clash, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, The Smiths and Queen. February 22, 200818 yr I was wondering who was going to post the results of the latest Q opinion poll
April 15, 200818 yr Oasis' Noel Gallagher: 'Jay-Z wrong for Glasto' The guitarist says hip-hop is 'wrong' for the British festival Oasis' Noel Gallagher has said that he thinks the decision to book Jay-Z for a headline set at this year's Glastonbury festival was incorrect. Speaking to BBC News, Gallagher said that deviating from the festival's tradition of booking guitar-based headliners was "wrong". "If it ain't broke don't fix it," he said. "If you start to break it then people aren't going to go. I'm sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance. "Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music and even when they throw the odd curve ball in on a Sunday night you go 'Kylie Minogue?' I don't know about it. But I'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong." Noel Gallagher has also spoken about Oasis' UK live plans, responding to repeated rumours the band would play the O2 Arena in London. http://www.nme.com/news/oasis/35873
April 15, 200818 yr I'm of two minds on this one. I love the fact that Glastonbury's always been about guitar rock, and I'd like to see it stay the same. But if you want to continue to bring large crowds, you have to keep up with what people want to hear, and people definitely want to hear Jay-Z. (I personally don't mind him, but I want my screaming Manchester guitar bands, lol)
April 15, 200818 yr like he's right. glasto has always been such a great rock festival, but it is a business and they are trying to attract crowds. even so i understand what he means. but he should keep his mouth shut for once. he's always trash talking!
April 16, 200818 yr and people definitely want to hear Jay-Z O Really? *checks and finds tickets are still available for a festival which has sold out in previous years within a day*
April 18, 200818 yr I usually don't agree with Noel, but here I do. Hip Hop should stay out of the Glastonbury festival. It's supposed to be about rock, and that's how it should stay.
