April 15, 200719 yr I love this picture so much. I had to put it in my signature. It's so adorable.
April 15, 200719 yr Hindu Times is AWSOME!!:) The first song I really loved. I didn't know the classics Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger. I think I know these two for... four years now. But... Hindu Times... For five years. I don't know how, but I saw one video of them, I think it was The Hindu Times and I was like "They are brilliant." :laugh3: And then... The whole Blur/Oasis thing kept me amused for a loooooong time.
April 15, 200719 yr I'm a big fan of the Hindu Times as well, just an awesome song. I wasn't really into music during the whole Oasis/Blur thing.
April 15, 200719 yr ^me neither. but I keep reading in all those unofficial coldplay biographies how big oasis must have been back then ... and how mean liam must have been. lol :laugh3:
April 15, 200719 yr I'm a big fan of the Hindu Times as well, just an awesome song. I wasn't really into music during the whole Oasis/Blur thing. No, I only got to know it five years ago. :laugh3: But even then... It was still there. Now "that joke isn't funny anymore", they have grown up. :laugh3: Although it never was really serious... I don't even like The Hindu Times that much any longer... Oh, in 1995... I didn't have the faintest clue about what the world really looks like. :laugh3:
April 25, 200719 yr Noel Gallagher is some crazy guy who has given me some wisdom... He is a weird guy.
May 8, 200719 yr Don't Believe The Truth is very good. Simple as that. It's no Definitly Maybe, it's non generation-defining but noone can expect that.
May 8, 200719 yr I think I read when it came out, if it was a debut release by an unknown band it would be hailed as a masterpiece, but since it was Oasis and since it wasn't Morning Glory, it was marked down. The Oasis of the Morning Glory era and the Oasis of the Don't Believe the Truth era are 2 different bands.
November 15, 200718 yr Oasis: 'We'll never do a Radiohead' Oasis have quashed rumours that they were planning to release their next album with Radiohead-style pricing, with fans choosing how much to pay for the release. Frontman Liam Gallagher said he would never let an Oasis album be given away for free. Specifically, he said he would allow it to happen "over my dead body". Gallagher went on to talk about how Oasis' new album sessions in north London's Abbey Road studios were going. "There's lots of cool parts," he told Reuters. "Really, we're throwing everything at it. "Hopefully our kid's [Noel Gallagher] learned his lesson [about over-tweaking things in the studio]. It shouldn't be hard making music. We've been doing it long enough." The follow-up to 2005's 'Don't Believe The Truth' is expected sometime in 2008.

January 9, 200818 yr Oasis mixing new album this week Noel Gallagher and co about to finish seventh record Oasis are reportedly mixing their latest album in Los Angeles this week, it has been reported today (January 9). According to a report on US radio station G Rock, the band’s seventh studio record is being mixed after Oasis finished recording sessions at London’s Abbey Road Studios late last year. The band also recorded and mixed part of their last album, 2005's 'Don't Believe The Truth', in the city with producer Dave Sardy, who is based there. At the time Noel Gallagher told NME.COM he had been initially reluctant to work in Los Angeles, but eventually enjoyed the experience. “I’ve got to say I was bit nervous going to America because it’s a bit like being in a little spaceship going into the Death Star in ’Star Wars’ when you go over to that country, especially Los Angeles,” he declared. “I was like ‘Fucking hell, there’s loads of idiots with long hair. I don’t want to meet any rappers or anyone in a rock band’ but once we got over the initial hurdle it was great. We were in our own little bubble.” The album is expected to be released in the spring. However, the band have yet to confirm any details. http://www.nme.com/news/oasis/33534
