Yesterday was super-hot as Tidworth had a power cut (which meant I could do no work :)) which cut the power to the AC (Plus water pumps)

 

The problem with fans is that they often cause the problem to be worst as they push hot air around

I know, but it's nice when it wafts past my face. :P

 

It's horrible though, so close and sticky.

seriously though, I went to croydon with work last month, it was 33 degrees, I got sunburnt on my forearms, bad times.

It rained incredibly hard here yesterday... just rain and thunder and lightning and hail (which we rarely get here) all day. It was a serious storm yesterday. I didn't want to leave my house. But then today was actually pretty nice: it was sunny but not too hot. Weather is kind of weird.
