I liked them when I heard get your hand off my woman basically because they were ripping the piss out of themselves but once I heard them in an interview, and found out what twats they were I completely hated them...as for their music, I'd rather someone stick toothpicks in my eyes than have to listen to them :dozey:

they sound great to sing along to when your drunk but when i'm sober they're not really my thing :)

They performed on a festival in summer one year ago. Almost nobody knew them here. Their performance was quite entertaining.

They ARE funny - they're a comedy act!! :P

I live the way NME always calls The Darkness a "Comedy Rock Group" when putting up articles.

 

However, a couple of songs on the first album have good lyrics, so some of the covers are fucking brilliant because they sing it right.

^I reckon they should go on tour with The Wurzels!! The two bands would complement one another perfectly!! :P

Nah, I don't think The Crown @ Trowbridge will suit the darkness.
