Anyone know if they are doing any pre-sales for the tickets?

Theyre coming to CT where I live, but I have no money. How can I get the money, I have no job!

i can only make the IZOD arena show. wachovia falls on my wedding date and the others i'll be on my honeymoon.

Aww man, no Florida dates :(. Atlanta would be a possibilty if I wasn't going to have a newborn a couple weeks earlier.

Here's hoping for possibly a second (or third! I'll take what I can get!) leg that will come to FL!

Hey MafHoney...

I am in Florida too and have seen Coldplay 4 times...once in NYC and 3 times in Florida. From the past tours....Coldplay usually tours Florida after the first of the year....usually beginning in February or March. Just be patient....those dates (probably West Palm, Tampa, and Orlando) should be in the mix!

Good luck!

I hope so! I'd love if they came back to Ford Ampitheatre in Tampa. They were amazing the last time they played there.

I'm from Florida as well. I think they will come here. Some dates have yet to be announced for this tour. If not this tour, probably one in 2009 will bring them to Florida.

i hope they tour =] i still havent seen them live i missed them on the X+Y tour =[ i was gutted they better play glasgow at least if not edinburgh =D

My dream would come true if they played on July 14th in Paris b/c that's when they have a HUGE open air concert in front of the Eiffel tower. :) Last year, Nelly Furtado was also there (amongst others) and the whole thing was just incredible - I think there were something like 700,000 people at that concert.

Considering the artwork and the themes of the new songs, there may be a tiny chance that this happens especially b/c they have a couple of days off around the 14th. :) But maybe I'm just dreaming b/c this would just be too amazing to be true. ;)

It may happen though. Jean-Michel Jarr has given a huge concert at the Eiffel Tower once. The crowd was huge. He also gave a concert outdoor in Beijing where the mod gathered.

^^ that would be AMAZING !! an open air concert near the Eiffel Tower :nice:

No dates in southern California? No Los Angeles or San diego? ugh...I don't want to wait a year for them to get here. and I miss them by one day in Phoenix!

just my luck...

Just found this on the biggest german ticket-seller site

Zuletzt war es ruhig um Coldplay. Jetzt meldet sich die erfolgreiche Band um Sänger Chris Martin zurück! Im Juni erscheint mit "Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends" ihr mittlerweile viertes Studialbum. Dieses soll an die Erfolge seiner Vorgänger "A Rush of Blood to the Head" und "X&Y" anknüpfen. Mit diesen beiden Alben gehörten Coldplay 2005 und 2005 zu den erfolgreichsten Bands der Welt. Pünktlich zum neuen Album kündigte die Band jetzt auch eine Tournee an.

The band have added another two shows to their "Viva La Vida" North American tour. They're at Orlando's Amway Arena on November 7th and at Miami's American Airlines Arena on November 8th.

I'm a bit bummed with the indoor venues. Coldplay out in the elements is so much better!

Ok, so I'm a die-hard Coldplay fan. I have all albums, b-sides, live DVD -- you name it...

But why do they insist on such ridiculous ticket pricing? They'll be coming to Cleveland which is real close and where I saw them in '05, but I don't remember tickets being priced at $124 for nose bleeds!

As if they need the money. I'll do my best to go and I plan on going but when other concerts are in the 25-50 range I see no reason for such god-awful pricing strategy!

-- 500+ for a floor seat? Pfft... they aren't Jesus.

where are you seeing the prices?

I see a range of 49.50- 97.50

eeep that is steep!

i noticed that there hasn't been too much talk on the announcement of the japan dates in august. the band has a significant break between those dates and the re-commencement of their north american tour. in that time i'm guessing that they will either do an australian tour or an european tour. most bands tend to tour australia after their japan tours

and to the person who was upset that they didnt announce any south american dates, i would be very very surprised if they dont tour that region i'm sure they will head over there around early next year like they did in 2007.

Yea, 97 bucks is pretty expensive. I'll probably buy tickets at those prices, but I'm not going to enjoy spending all that money. I think I spent $70 per ticket the last time. I will be going to the Orlando show though!

Ahh Paris. It'd be a dream to see Coldplay in Paris and stay for a few days. I love that place.

Will they be adding more shows to this tour?

Perhaps in Vancouver? :)
