Ooo turntables thats really cool. Ya i know a DJ and hes really good, I think thats such tallent and skill if you can do that!!!

DJing is a true art. The techniques involved are pretty complicated and hard to master.

yup heard of them all. I iwsh i took band in Elementary school.

Ya in middle school I played clarinet, then I in high school I got into percussion.

Seriously though, over the years, I've been able to find quite a bit of cool gear at yard sales and the like...

Gotta look though. Thats my problem! I have to wake up early....and i usually work to pay for it anyways.

That's the bane of my existence as well. As low man on the totem pole at my new job, I've been saddled with the 6:00 a.m. shift every day the last two weeks.:thinking:

Im fairly high up. But I still get mornings on weekends cause i do night during the week. the 6 ams always suck. Especially this sunday! Mind you it seems lately I only get them when Im going to a concert later that day. First Coldplay, this week Carlos Santana!

My work schedule has been killing me lately, (which is why I've not been here as much as I was...;))

Mines lossened up. But school is tough.

Bought myself an MXR Micro Amp and a ProCo RAT2 (Reutz mod)! Looking forward to see what they can do with my Blackheart Little Giant tube amp in company with my std am tele :cool:. Really sucks that the amp hasn't got an effects loop, as my Boss RV-5 don't feel at home in front of the amp. I wish i had my own house with noone nextdoor, so i could rig up a real Fender amp....:P

Also Ive been playing with a band, and i love it, I now know what I was put on this earth for. The thrill of playing with 4/5 people and sounding not half bad. We had a few people walking by listen for a minute or two. So much fun!

I need a band too... can't sit around and play by myself all the time :P

 

Also, a Line6DL4 is next on my list.

Look at the DD-20 too. Its the Boss equivalent and I love it. I suggest going in to a store and try them both out extensively. Its a lot to invest.

This thing might be worth checking out. An open-source effects pedal :D. Probably sucks for distortion/overdrive, but could be awesome for customized digital effects. 350 bucks is quite a bit though...

My RAT came in yesterday! And wow blows my Boss out of the water! Went From Coldplay/Oasis to Foo fighters to Metallica in 30 seconds and sounded amazing too.

 

Fits great with my Giga delay and FM212 DSP. I'm gonna post a pic soon hopefully!

Is it the new RAT2? I've got one from the early 90's, and have done the Reutz mod. Makes it a million times better. You really get the "yellow" sound!

I'm gonna snatch an LM308 op-amp from the lab at my uni, and replace the existing one, as i've heard it's a great improvement.

Its a new RAT 2, but its still got a beautiful sound on it. Yellow sounds great, and Talk.

 

Now its to save up for my Thinline.
