Gone up for you Tracie

For me and most of Canada it's gotten better in the last couple of years.

We got a free upgrade last year and I was like "Duuuuuuude. :surprised: "

stupid North Yorkshire and it's stupid broadband :(

If I want to upload or download or watch something over 30s on youtube I have to wait until like 2 in the morning when it speeds up, oh and it constanlt cuts off and I have to go reset the modem like once every hour, I can't fuckinh wait until NY gets decent connections.

Yo pain, I feel it

For me it's simply a matter of the local exchange is overcrowded to all buggery and the ISP that manages it is sitting on their asses with no fix time in sight.

I wish the likes of BT wouldn't spend millions upgrading cities whom already have super-speeds fibres and spend the money on the areas which are rubbish.

I've been with Plusnet now for a couple weeks, the only downsize is that the supplied router is a bit rubbish when it comes to wi-fi, my old router I could get a signal in my room but this new one it's patchy (no more late night iPad shopping sprees)

Oh man this annoys me so much, like when I was in Manchester I couldn't believe how fast the internet was, they always forget about us country folk :(

0kay my internet is like super fast this morning

Can your computer fly too? Maybe even get to Mars...

Oh man this annoys me so much, like when I was in Manchester I couldn't believe how fast the internet was, they always forget about us country folk :(

Lets spend millions on upgrading 100 mbps lines to 200 mbps as we know we can con those city folk into paying £50+ a month for a 200 mbps line even though they don't need it. Those country folk can't be conned as easily.

And what is so annoying is that there is a fibre cabinet 200 metres away from this house, but that isn't for this village, it's for the nearby army camp. Dug up the roads to lay fibre optics with no benefit for us :(

I'm going to re-locate the router in a few days to see if it makes any difference:

Watch in awe as you gape upon my magnificently fast internet. :dozey:

Upload speed compared to download speed, that is a pretty good ratio.

From our vacation condo in Oregon. I have no clue what this means...but it fails hard LOL!

Hi, In order to check our internet speed everytime, we need some gadgets instead of visiting sites, I downloaded a gadget which is free of cost and much useful to us.
