There was a moment when I and one of them (who's actually French and still keeps her accent a bit, though she's been living here for years) were looking at my balcony through the window, where I keep my pets, and she asked me: "So, how many parakeets have you got?" Me: "Four. Two are in the cage above, two in the one below." Her: "Are they both couples? Male and female?" Me: "Well... Yeah but not the ones below, they're both males." Her: "But then...
