Guy worked again with Magne Furuholmen for two projects (Updated 21 Aug 2008)

Featured Replies

Haven't seen anyone talking about this, anyway, Guy has worked again with Magne, for his new EP released in january. All the six songs can be listened to and downloaded free from Magne MySpace.

Moreover they also worked on a soundtrack for a japanese movie called Yoru no Shanghai (The Longest Night in Shanghai). It seems Guy have his own song on that OST, called "Guy Romance Theme" and plays also in another one called "Bass Theme". Here's the tracklist (please, don't look at the different title, it's definitely the same movie, it seems they can't decide which is the right title :laugh3:), you should be able to listen to a sample for each song.

Edit: I've just seen Magne EP album has been posted in multimedia. Feel free to lock this one

someone posted the Magne F songs in the multimedia section. :)

That's cool for the other two songs I cant wait to hear that. Nice to see them working on their own for a bit.

Yeah I've seen, but I was expecting it to be discussed also in the Coldplay section ;)

...and now it seems Chris Martin has collaborated with Magne as well.

From Agderposten.no today.

Snippet of the article:

For the installation by the Norwegian artist Pernille Gormsen, located among the trees at Hove, Furuholmen has made the music together with Coldplay-vocalist Chris Martin. Furuholmen has later transformed and adapted the recordings to this installation.

Any reaction to his own sound installation is welcome, Furuholmen says. Because that can provide him with possibilities of adding additional dialogue.

Which is the title of the music track?

Where we can find it?

I believe that it is only available as part of the exhibit (which kind of sucks as I won't be near Norway any time soon - LOL)-- when you walk through the exhibit at the museum you get one of those little individual players to listen to as you walk through the exhibit. I don't think it's available anywhere else, but if I hear otherwise, I'll let you know!

Agreed! I'd love to hear his dreamy voice in a song.... *sigh*

The series hasn't been on yet but it's going to be on the album that's released anyway. Not long to wait until we can hear it.
