All i wanna no is there anyone out there who is just obbsessed with The Song A Message as i am. I think its the greatest song ever written and is just beautiful? The Chorus makes me want to cry

A Message is a great song..I always think of driving around Calais-Dover when I hear that song. I don't know why, it has that countryside-esque effect for me..

It is very refreshing song has a nice vibe to it that sort of makes you stop worrying about anything. Maybe reminds me of last year when i went through my a message phase.

yea fresh is such a perfect word. when i think of my favorite coldplay songs i don't think of a message but really its one of the only songs that never gets old for me. i really do like it a lot.

Yes it's really a nice and good mood song. It even sounds great reversed:laugh3:

it makes me feel so in romance and also whenever i am lost i listen it i did it yesterday night feeling so lonely,and yeah i came back to condition again:laugh3: and slept well after listening it and followed by Chris' interview:kiss:.

like most of the songs on X&Y it has brilliant lyrics but very bland music. but it cements chris's position as one of the best songwriters going around at the moment.

A Message was the one track on X & Y that when I heard it for the first time I was like:o - then I just put the cd on repeat for a few days...definitely a great song...

I think different. I think both musically and lyrically XandY was not good.

However, for the most part Chris' lyrics were the weak point - especially Swallowed in the sea, which is cringe inducing.

 

Having said that, A Message is one of the better songs lyrically - it's so refreshing as it's just Coldplay relying on simplicity and the melody to carry the song, which contrasts much of what has preceded it on X&Y.
