Anyone from London got the new NME? It comes out today? It has a review of VLV... in it. I predict 8/10.

I predict a riot...

 

The NME gave X&Y a 9 out of 10, so anything less than 10/10 will cause people to moan that any newspaper/magazine who reviews X&Y higher than Viva isn't worth reading

^Yeah, I bet they're regretting that score right now. There's no other way out of being moaned unless they give it a perfect 10. And there's no way that X&Y is a 9/10 album anyway.

What about Q they gave X&Y 5 stars?

i think Q mag will give a better review than NME...and thats out the start of next month i think.......but im subsribed to NME so i'll be readin the review tomorrow to see what they think of the album

klkl what do u think both mags will give the album?...bit hard to judge since we havent heard it.......i think Q will give it 5/5...and NME is out of 10 so 9/10

It's always risky to give a 10/10 or a 5/5. They should've known better, especially because X&Y isn't as brilliant as some other albums wich do deserve a maximum rating.

 

No everyone is going to compare the ratings of Viva la Vida with the ones of X&Y. It has to be higher than the X&Y rating, but 6/5 stars is a little weird.

actually i think your rigth about NME...i'll just have to wait till tomorrow to find out :D

The albums which have gotten a 5 star rating in Q lately haven't been all that amazing.

 

Some of the 3/4 stars albums have been a lot better
