December 22, 201114 yr I was very fortunate and extremely excited to watch the soundcheck in Berlin yesterday together with the other guys who helped with the wristbands. They first did 'Christmas Lights' and then started with the new "song". It was only the sound files first and they all listened to it and then joined in with their instruments. It sounded pretty cool, but don't ask me to describe it. I'm not able to I'm afraid. There were no lyrics yet and they all just seemed to experiment and see where it's going. Chris jumped off the stage while the others continued playing and had a chat with Phil who was watching from the sound control area. Chris seemed pretty excited about the song. Will then hit the drums alone for several minutes and it was pretty cool as Miller wrote. A lot of energy. Towards the end Chris went back to the stage area leaning against the runway and watched Will with quite a lot of admiration. A nice moment. Would love to hear this song being recorded at some point.
December 23, 201114 yr ^ :wacky: this really is awesome news!!! A new song is the last thing I would've expected from them, given their so-called "lack of inspiration"... Which doesn't lack at all!!! I'm so happy, I can't wait to hear it as well! Let's hope they will develop it more or less as fast as they did with UIF!!! :wideeyed: It'd be amazing if this could stimulate them to release an EP in the near future!!!

January 19, 201214 yr Grammys - Feb 12th, POC single - Feb 14th. Perfect, ain't it? There's pleanty of time to release CB before that. Could happen. Just sayin.
January 19, 201214 yr ^yeah, but I remember wiki saying that UWTB was the 4th single so I doubt that it's true
January 19, 201214 yr ^^ No, there's not plenty of time, if they want to do a decent promotion. :\ WTF are they doing ? :wtf:
January 19, 201214 yr "Coldplay announced on January 19th, 2012 at Charlie Brown was filmed in November-December 2012 and is due to be released on VEVO & Youtube on February 1st, 2012." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie...Coldplay_song)
January 19, 201214 yr ^yeah, but I remember wiki saying that UWTB was the 4th single so I doubt that it's true Don't know about the date but it's clearly gonna be a single. The Anchorman says so. :D ^^ No, there's not plenty of time, if they want to do a decent promotion. :\ WTF are they doing ? :wtf: Performing POC and releasing CB - THAT would be a mistake. Grammys and Brits are more than enough promotion. If they really do release them 15 days apart, they could be on top of the world. :dazzled:
January 19, 201214 yr ^No, I don't think they would. Or maybe with PoC, but it would kill CB. And CB deserves way more spotlight, it has so much potential!!! And yes I think it would be a mistake. I feel the Grammys performance might be the video for the single (I mean PoC). So, or they managed to be allowed to perform twice (CB + PoC) and then the order of the releases is OK, or they may have switched, and they'll release PoC first. But these are just my crazy theories :|
