this might not mean as much to anyone not living in the US, but in 1999 i was on a competition on nickelodeon between shows. the other kid got slimed.

I don't see the appeal of Big Brother at all. It's like an irritating uncle who tells the same jokes every time he visits. Eventually you want him out of the house, out of your life. The 'experiment' has run its course and spawned enough Z-list 'celebrities' to last a lifetime.
