I'm waiting too. I really wish I hadn't heard either Violet Hill or Viva La Vida before the release either. They're so good, it would have been amazing to hear them for the first time with the rest of the album.

i know what you mean! the more i listen to vlv the more i think it would've been great to hold that one off till the album release. i'm not complaining though, it would've been a favorite regardless of how i heard it :D oh yes, and welcome to coldplaying, enjoy your stay :)

I'm still here.

Had a close one last night. I logged into MySpace and went to the streaming page, and pressed play. The volume was down, but I was seriously thinking of turning it up. I was fighting desperately with my left hand to stop my right hand from dragging the volume slider up, it was an epic struggle. Kind of like in Liar Liar when Jim Carey is trying to stop himself form writing on his face. I won, and the volume didn't go up. Instead, I watched as song progressed second by second, wondering what Life In Technicolour sounds like, before closing that window, switching off the computer and going to bed.

Another day has come.

Let's just hope I don't have any more dodgy moments like that.

Haha tell me about it. I actually downloaded it, and burned it on a CD, and was going out to play it in the car, but in the last moment I threw it in a dumpster next to the car lol.

right, we actually know this already. a bunch of us have simply decided to wait until the official release before we hear the complete album. there's something special in that but it's not a crime listening to it either, each to their own ;)

As I've said, I cracked, and listened to it. And I don't regret it. The album is absolutely brilliant!

i've still resisted and actually, not all that tempted anymore. as in it's not that hard to resist. i'm still dying to hear it but i'm not longer crumbling under the temptation. i've sort of come to a point i'm not going to break no matter what so now i'm just waiting...and waiting lol. it's easy to do now, especially since i've resorted to listening to arobtth and b-sides :)

OH MY, MY COPY HAS BEEN POSTED BY PLAY. 3-5 DAYS AND THE WAIT IS OVER. I'm dyiiiiing to listen, it's getting harder and harder not to just listen to it, but I'm hangin' in there!

June 14 is the release date of the album here in Australia, and it's also the day my exams begin lol. If anything, it makes me look forward to the date more but at the back of my mind I'm wanting days to go by slowly :freak: Can wait to hear LIT though, it's the one track I really want to hear!

 

So....coldstaining continues :D

i'm also an aussie waiting it out til June 14th! The only songs i've listened to are VH, ASARY and Lost?. the wait will be soooo worth it :D

 

...but i'm gonna be pissed if I get to JB-HIFI after work and find they sold out :shocked2:
