I will confess that I just listened to the Album version of Lovers In Japan. It's much better then the acoustic.

This is kind of gross, but refraining from listening to Viva La Vida is kind of like resisting to pick a scab, you want to pick it so bad, but you will not feel good about it after.

^ expectations will only ruin it if you think too highly for the album because then it's bound to not meet your expectations on some level. however, i don't think we're all going crazy in the sense we're building it up to something greater than it is... but we won't know yet till we actually hear it, which is the whole point of this thread :D it's a waiting game and i know we'll all win in the end :smug:

Ive got to wait until June 23rd thats when it will be shipped to me since I live in the U.S. I'm going to try and hold off on listening to it until then though

Will's drumming is REALLY intriguing me too after seeing that there is a "What happened to Will?!" thread. Although I've not read it all, it seems like Will really owns this album.

I'm still in the Coldstainers club, I was so tempted to listen on Myspace today, and I got as far as loading the page, but then the music wouldn't load, so I didn't listen. Close call though....

Myspace is tempting me at the moment :stunned: :(

I will always buy a physical copy of a new Coldplay album no matter what.

i don't think that does but since there is no official criteria yet lol. maybe a footnote should be added because i've heard vh and vlv too BUT they were official-ish releases. resisting the temptation to hear the rest before it's released is kinda the key here :D
