Yeah I'm holding out on a couple of songs. I'm waiting for at least a 256kpbs version.

 

But I don't mind hearing the full version of Yes and Chinese Sleep Chant, or the album version of Lost and Lovers In Japan... those we basically had already.

The album leaked while I was in the computer lab at school and I spent the entire period having an intense debate with myself over what to do.

 

In the end I decided that the self-gratification of knowing I resisted, plus the extended period of anticipation and experience of having the physical CD outweighed the idea of instant gratificaion combined with that terrible feeling I get after I listen to a leaked album. :\

 

That being said... This isn't easy. I'm also swearing off all other Coldplay music in order to remove sources of temptation and to allow me to have a fresh ear for songs like Violet Hill, Viva la Vida, Lost, etc when the album is released.

after paying £190 on four tix for there gig, and pre ordering the album i have no guilt

 

i just get to enjoy it quicker

Ok, sorry to admit (but not too ;)sorry ) I broke down and found all the songs and am listening RIGHT NOW! And just an hour ago I said I'd wait 1 day LOL. I know I know...no will power. For all of those still holding out...I'm proud of you for sticking to your guns, hehe. I just couldn't do it, knowing it was out there, complete, just waiting for me!!!!

I have found that listening to all of the Muse albums I've been ignoring lately is a great way to keep my mind off the leak.
