ChadBC
I know not everyone has heard the album and it only leaked a day ago but it is what it is. What's your favorite Coldplay album?
Jpw48
Its to early for me to consider Viva la Vida, so I'm going for my pre-yesterday favourite, Parachutes :P

StarsKay
^ same. but it'll take a lot to surpass arobtth. that's still the coldplay album for me.
Famous Old Painter
Unfortunately, this album hasnt affected my ranking of Coldplay albums as much as I hoped it would. 1. X&Y 2. AROBTTH 3. VLVODAAHF 5. Parachutes

JPB
I love the progression from one album to another. 'Nuff said. But LP5 will leave em all in the ha'penny place methinks.:P

I have total respect for those who love Parachutes and loathe X&Y, they're both two different stages of Coldplay. I seem to have a habit of going against the crowd, one of my favourite Radiohead albums is Hail To The Thief, and my favourite Gomez album is Split The Difference for instance. lostsides
Listened to it (Viva la Vida...) all last night from start to finish. Bloody amazing. Definitely their best!
Knotty
I'm just struggling to understand how I will ever get tired of this album. Seriously, this morning I was thinking about the amazing tracks on it and I always ended up listing them and then going, "Omg, I forgot about xxxxx!" It's just an entire album of incredible music. gus
lol i think people who doesnt heard VLVODAAHF are voting. 1.-VLVODAAHF 2.-AROBTH 3.-PARACHUTES 4.-X & Y
Nash
hmm that is hard to choice, but my 2 best albums are X&Y and VLVODAAHF.
Space Cadet
1. AROBTTH 1.5 Parachutes = VLV 3. X&Y AROBTTH is still my sentimental favorite, and possibly still their best. But Parachutes is too close to be number 2, and VLV seems to be on the same level as both of them. It's much more complex and mature in a good way, but it doesn't have that first album innocence either.

squareonefivesix
I voted Viva - for me it had to surpass X&Y , as that's the cp album I go back and listen to time after time - X&Y had one song I disliked (twisted logic) and I know it's early days but I don't think there is a song on Viva that I dislike so far, altho Violet Hill is starting to get on my nerves a wee bit just cos I've heard too much. ;) Parachutes was a great album(and till is of course) but I find it a bit dated now, and Rush of blood's song quality definately sags in the middle. I agree with someone above - I like coldplay's progression thro th albums - each one improves on the previous one for me, which is as it should be. Anyway, I'm very pleased with Viva - a good mix, some rocky bits, some softer elements and quite diverse. 10/10 :D
shipoffools
A Rush Of Blood To The Head is still my favorite Coldplay album. I'd rank them in this order: 1. A Rush Of Blood To The Head 2. Viva La Vida 3. X&Y 4. Parachutes
