Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson revealed he dropped Rooney after he was left "devastated" by the three-match ban that rules him out of England's Euro 2012 group games following his red card in Montenegro. Ferguson also left Hernandez and Nani on the bench in a much-changed United team - and it looked like proving an expensive decision as Steven Gerrard marked his first start since undergoing groin surgery in March by putting Liverpool ahead with a 68th-minute free-kick. It was the signal for Ferguson to introduce his attacking heavy weaponry and Hernandez rescued a point with a close-range header nine minutes from time. Liverpool substitute Jordan Henderson almost snatched victory twice in stoppage time, but United held on to end a run of three successive Premier League defeats at Anfield. But that's what makes Man Utd champions - Reina not having one save to make but United score from the one opportunity they had. Always feel you need to score at least 2 to beat Man Utd but we had our chances but we couldn't take them. Match against Norwich next week is a bigger 3 points on offer now though. We MUST take them.

Yes well the only positive thing to come out of that is that those scum aren't on top! :D For me the title race will be between you and Chelsea. No one's talking about Chelsea but they are ramping up the gears and looking fairly consistent. Man Utd are just allowing teams to create too many chances against them. Plus I can't expect a team that has Danny Welbeck starting for them every week to win the Premier League. Chelsea v Man City. That is the title race right there.
