March 10, 201313 yr Excellent wins in the PL today for Liverpool and Newcastle. Two sides who really did a good job when the January transfer window came. Didn't think Liverpool were that great today despite the win. Quite average in fact. Fair to say we only played for 50 minutes with Tottenham dominating the other 40 minutes. Tottenham expended a lot of energy in the time they were on top which really helped us in the last 20-25 minutes. Also Rodgers substitution of Allen for Coutinho really was a great tactical decision as it allowed us to compete in the midfield where we were getting swamped. Coutinho's performance in the first half was brilliant though. He really made that first goal. Tottenham were very good. They played with as much confidence as I've ever seen from them. That said I'm getting really tired of Gareth Bale and his theatrics. He's taking it beyond the piss especially after Thursday night's dive. Made Suarez look like an angel in comparison.

March 12, 201313 yr This is going to be a big test for the Barca manager, against big teams Barca really struggle to make an instant impact. If they don't get a goal in the first half then we'll need to see an urgency that they often lack, teams have learned to focus on their patient passing game by this point.

March 12, 201313 yr If Milan had an even somewhat similar mindset to the first game they'd be holding up a lot better, they have the right idea up front but are way too loose at the back. Despite having a few chances its hard to see how Barca won't take this, I can't see it going to extra time anyway. It'd be interesting if Milan get a goal now...
