May 6, 201313 yr ^Yes it goes to goals scored, if that's the same they have a Play Off (Which I assume is 2 matches home and away), if Wigan win by just 1 goal they'll have better GD than Newcastle and Norwich anyway. I will be watching with great interest tomorrow night, if Wigan win then we're in the relegation zone with 2 games remaining. If we were safe then I'd love to see Wigan win, I think everyone loves a fight to the end (And one that amazingly involves several teams) but this is horrible.

May 7, 201313 yr I see your point but the "empty stadium" thing is now pretty much a myth, their crowds have more than trebled in the last decade (More than 3/4's full now) and as they have been an established Premier League team for many years that will continue to grow.
May 7, 201313 yr Wigan are the only team I want to stay up. I think plenty of northern fans feel the same way, as well as quite a few others. Established small club in the Premier League who I love pulling something out the bag. Brought some gems to the league too who have moved on to bigger things. Not too big for their boots either. If you look at teams who are going up, you wouldn't want them replacing Wigan.
