I heard some people wished they could change their selection of the best song off the album. So, since the leak has been out a while, what is your favorite song off the album whether it be the exact pick as the Updated thread I made or something different?

It shifts constantly. Though the acoustic (and therefore non album) version of Lovers in Japan is my favorite new thing period.

last time i said VLV, and both SS and VLV are ultimately going to forever be in my top 10, but SS ever so slightly more. SS i think will forever be in my top 5, while VLV will probably hunker down around #8 or so.

honestly, i think they're all equally suberb so i chose VLV cos everyone seems to have forgotten about it

You should've made it multiple choice (vote for more than 1). I voted Cemeteries but it could've been Strawberry Swing or Violet Hill just as easy.

Last time VLV, now SS I like them equally

Everytime I listen to the album, I think 'oh I really like that song' then the next one comes on and I change my mind!!! At the moment its 'lovers in japan', but then 'reign of love' is on next..........

Questions:

Aren't DAAHF and Escapist two different songs? I like the Escapist much better than DAAHF.

You have "Lost!" listed, but where is "Lost?", the version that came with the iTunes preorder?

Still Strawberry Swing for me, but Lost! is a very close second. I played SS to the kids in my class (they're 12 so not really in to music like Coldplay yet), and six of them instantly started clapping along. It takes a lot to impress them sometimes, but SS was an instant hit!!!

 

Haven't actually listened to the two acoustics tacked on to the end yet. I just love listening to the album in it's "proper" form.
