The fact that your entire first post was based around the fact you have to wait until November is why people think (correctly) that you're a moron. Because Coldplay are British and we have to wait another MONTH on top of THAT. But we didn't complain, we just accepted it was in December and were grateful to be able to see them at all.

 

It sucks that you cancelled a holiday for the gig but your OP sets you out as a 12-year-old whining little imbecile.

As a Brit, I was honestly a tad miffed that they decided to tour the states first, but ultimately, who cares? The important thing is that you have a ticket.

 

Would you rather see them early in an under-rehearsed, half-assed show, or do you want to see them bring their A-game?

It royally sucks having to re-arrange everything, I know a lot of people who may not be going now because of work and school. But don't blame the band. It's not fair to say 'Coldplay is bullshit', when tours involve so many more than 4 people. So many bands are on tour booking the same major venues in each city. It could have been a scheduling matter, a family issue. Who knows? But it's extremely unfair to blame the band, who believe me, are likely just as upset as their fans.

 

EDIT: I hadn't read the band's post yet when I read this, but I still say it's not fair to say they're bullshit. As it turns out, I won't be able to go to the Toronto show at all now, and I am angry, but I'll find another show I can get to. Tour production is complicated.

It's got to suck that theyre moving things back, but really, put it into some perspective. Shitloads of mad devoted fans can't see them at all, a lot of them on this very forum. I'd probably be pissed too if something like this happened, probably very pissed, but it's not the bands fault. Obviously something had to have come up - whatever came up is immaterial though. You'll get a better show anyways for waiting. I wish I could see them play, unfortunately ive got to go to college when there was a concert I could have seen.

im sure they were forced to do it, otherwise why would they move all the dates like that? there's gotta be a good reason....

this is some massive bullshit. i planned on going to the CP concert in Detroit and now have to wait till november 3rd. what the fuck. most of you cant understand but for those who do i want to complain till my fucking mouth falls off. this is complete BS. i shouldnt have to wait till november to go see a fucking concert. they already rescedualed the albumt o e relased on may something but switched that to the 17 of june wit 3 fucking years for some new music not have to wait until fuckingnovember to see them live. i still love theyre music but i think they lost one more person not going to be showing up at the concert.

i know it was probably out of the bands control, but 4 months, seriously? i have gone to concerts that have been moved a couple of weeks around, but this insane.

i was excited, counting down the days until july 9(kc), now ill just be like: "o ya. coldplay is this week..."(in november)

 

if i was in the bands shoes, i would stick with the dates and nix some of the "production." or give us one hell of a deal ... free something

Well, I didn't REALLY want to be too harsh, but still. Some people just aren't happy with what they (can) get. And cases like this one don't make me sparkling happy.

Yes, and realizing it didn't look like they were coming to NC so buying tickets and plane tickets to Philly really sucks. But, I have to agree with the general sentiment that this isn't much to complain about. I'll see them soon, one way or another, and I'll love every minute of it. Now, if only they'd cover the cost of the changed plane ticket.......... :)
