Did anyone listen in on KIIS FM this morning? Chris Martin was on Ryan Seacrest's morning show. As per usual, he was in typical interviewing form - facetious and funny.

Really? I hope they put the interview up on the site for us.

What a great way to start my morning!

 

A few tidbits:

 

* Ryan mentioned that he liked the Starbucks joke (venti vs. grande) and Chris said he was glad because it is difficult to be funny in front of a whole bunch of people.

 

* Chris thought the Monday night encore was much better than the one on Tuesday.

 

* He didn't walk out when Ryan started asking personal questions. Ryan asked whether the family is with him when they are on the road and CM replied that given their busy schedules, sometimes they are together and sometimes not. Then he went on to say that sometimes when your father is a musician, it is better not to be around him for a couple of days.

 

* When some fans got on the phone with him, CM was very appreciative of their praise and said, "For reasons I cannot divulge this morning, this means a lot to me." (Something to that effect.)

Oh, and then Ryan played the clip from the Today show from a couple of weeks ago where CM said that Ryan designed their costumes. CM said, "You told us not to say anything!"

Yeah, Chris is the doll of all dolls and I used to have negative feelings towards Mr Seacrest, but after his referring to Coldplay as "the best or biggest band on the planet" and having Chris on his show, he's okay with me:)

I'm curious about the EP thing. First they were talking about a whole new album by the end of next year... now about an EP in March.

 

Sounds like they don't know what to do with the songs they have left. As long as they release it, I'll be satisfied. I'm always in for some new Coldplay material :nice:

well they did say ages ago that there would be two A songs released indepedently. this might be the first (or second) of them

Chris said there might be an EP in march. He didn't tell much about it, just that it will be better than VLV :P
