Hey Lauren...yeah if the Oracle is Debs I am hoping she's just referring to the old official board getting out of control because almost everyone on this site is just about as nice and harmless as can be. We all talk a big talk about what we'd do to the boys or whatever but its all in good fun. Surely the Oracle is smart enough to see that:dozey:

I get the feeling that the Oracle is referring to the old official boards. There were some very testy, not so kind folks posting there. No Coldplay Luv for newbies there, just a lot of one-ups-manship.

I certainly hope so.

 

Your stalking skills did get you to Jonny and Guy and they haven't complained, have they;)

 

Plus methinks people are here also a little to vent what everyday life might be wanting. In a indirect and full of humour way. But some people's limit about rudeness are tighter than others, so maybe she is just warning new viewers that they come here at they own risk, sort of way. Lots of people are quite young.

 

Well they love Coldplay so they should find themselves very happy here :sunny: There are enough threads to satisfy all sorts !

I bet that the Oracle is just some lonely lass/chap who wishes s/he had half as much attention as the band gets.

So s/he has devoted him/herself to answering pointless questions...

The Oracle doesn't answer good questions because s/he either doesn't know the answers, :smug:

Or s/he fears that us Coldplayers will become too knowledgable about the band, moreso than the Oracle.

So s/he vows to not tell us any goodies that could ruin his/her position as the band's official know-it-all/smartie pants. :angry:

 

That's my philosophy on the Oracle anyway....it's probably completely wrong, but oh well.

There are no plans to have a message board on this site. Personally forums can get very ugly and unhealthy. They're scary places even for an Oracle. That said; if you're looking for one the unofficial fan site coldplaying.com has a popular one.

I think O is talking about messageboards in general. But s/he has a point. Boards can be ugly and unhealthy place to spend time, however well run they are. :)

I don't remember Guy taking any of just Jonny. I think he tried, but Jonny was already so embarrassed that there was no way he was going to be seen standing around holding up a sign proclaiming himself as great so he quickly made sure you guys got in there. :laugh3:

Good evening. We're pleased to announce that, today, the Oracle answered the 10,000th question to be submitted to Coldplay.com for their attention. The Oracle hasn't actually answered all 10,000 of them, but it still feels like a landmark moment. Head on over there to celebrate.
