November 19, 201114 yr Holy crap, whats with these 18th century school buildings :wreck: The dome building was built in 1893, and the big castle-looking thing was built in 1937 I think. So neither was built in the 18th century, especially seeing that the school was established in 1863.
November 19, 201114 yr I would post pictures I have taken of my city, but I really don't have many. I don't ever think about taking pictures because I see the same things every day. :P So here's some pictures found on google. These first ones are of the closest big city I live to, Dallas, TX. Dallas Skyline from going over the bridge on lake Ray Hubbard Texas Star Ferris Wheel at Fair Park Sculpture in front of the Dallas Museum of Art Inside the American Airlines Center. Coldplay Played here during Viva tour. The next ones are of my university and surrounding areas in Denton, TX About 40 miles away from the big city. The courthouse on the square. Administration building and the main mall Installation in front of the Art Building (where I spend a majority of my life). The Fish and Chips bus. My favorite! It is there every weekday from 5 pm- 10 pm Fry Street. The main drag for all the student bars. Apogee Stadium. Our fancy new football stadium that we spent way too much money on seeing as our team is complete crap. :P

January 29, 201214 yr @kover That's a lovely town @juanif94 Love your country, I've been there only once but had such a great time :) Not a really pretty city, but I like it...this is Porto Alegre, capital of the Rio Grande do Sul state in Brazil It's kind of big.... http://static.panoramio.com/photos/original/4667203.jpg ^that's my favourite building here :) People really like the sunset arround here, don't ask me why...and that's a lake everybody calls a river, the Guaíba Night view, with some fireworks at the Beira-Rio stadium Beira-Rio stadium home of Sport Club Internacional, the club I love :)
