i sometimes feel guilty for wearing flats to be honest. :(

for example, this week i've only worn heels once and i guess it's the peer pressure that made me think about it. i am usually the one wearing heels all the time, but when i spotted lots of girls wearing heels this week, i thought i had to wear them, too. i don't know. i feel horrible when i'm underdressed. so that was for the random note.

 

I know what you mean. It's akward to feel overdressed too though. I had to go to some course in Switzerland and everyone else was wearing jeans and trainers. I even got asked whether 'I was going anywhere later'. :embarassed:

 

On another note I went shopping there and I couldn't find anyting. It's strange because I used to like certain shops and I couldn't even find anything I wanted to try on.

 

 

Then you might look healthier, but your skin won't actually be healthier, so I would strongly advise against it.

If you really must have a tan, fake is definitely the way to go nowadays.;)

Personally, I'd rather stay pale.;)

 

You still see a lot of girls wearing fake tan. A lot of them don't look healthy at all. They actually look ORANGE.

A girl I hate did a fake tan with a bad product, first her legs looked orange... and when she went to the swimming pool, her legs were both white/orange with big stains :lol:

And tanning with UV rays can cause cancers :\ So we better wait the summer sun !

i love the metallic style that's around these days, but i wonder if it would wear off if i wore them all the time:

 

white leather as opposed to canvas would be easiest to keep clean:

 

and then there's just regular canvas, my favorite of which are grey and pink (though the pink would get stained fast) :

^ Ohhh I like the silver metallic ones too but the leather ones are probably more durable and will be easier to clean as you mentioned.

 

I have a pair of the white canvas high-tops and they get dirty really easily but I don't mind; sort of like that slightly dirty white sneaker look. But is it just me, or, are Converses really not that comfortable?

i think i'll probably end up going with the metallic :D. i just kind of wish they had the white rubber covering on the toe like the classic converses, rather than it just being more metallic.

 

and i think they're comfortable for everyday...i have three other pairs :P (but two of them are too small, and the others are high-tops). however, for a day with lots of walking...not so good, since they have basically no cushioning or arch support. i wore my high-tops in walking around all day in paris last summer on one of the hottest days of the year and i almost permanently crippled myself :lol:. i had an open wound on the bottom of my foot after i popped the blister for the rest of the summer, no joke. actually, the blister was just a bit smaller than this:

canvas purse from gap, marked down to $7 from $32! i couldn't resist :bigcry:. i'm such a bag freak. i know it's going to get dirty quickly, but it's completely white, so that's what clorox bleach pens are for!
