what does everyone think the odds are that this EP will actually have at least one new song on it rather than just "lost!," "lost?," and a live version? :thinking:

heeheee, me too! I can't see me yet. Maybe when we get the DVD version that is bigger. The little screen and the quick camera jerks make it difficult to see.

i was at both shows they filmed! it was epic. and on top of that i spoke to a woman who manned or...womanned one of the cameras for the recording. she was extremely nice and informative! great nights!

Mostly live I think. Jonny's guitar is more prominent live for this song.

 

 

 

Hmmm, I don't like it so much either. The cuts are too fast, that makes it real hard to see the crowd.

I think "Lovers in Japan" would have been a better choice for a live music vid... the butterflies, the emotions off all the people in the audience... and the great colours!

 

I agree that the crazy cuts make it a bit disorienting. But upon a second watching, it really goes with the beat of the song.

 

I think Lovers in Japan would have been great live too. Because even people who are thinking "Butterflies? Lame!" end up changing their minds when they see them live and how they look when the lights make them all change color at once. Really cool. But I like this video.

its ok, I like the live vid. but in places it flicks between shots too quickly, and hurt my eyes.

 

exactly what I was thinking... plus it makes me a bit nausious... but if you look quick you'll see some great Guy footage... and that makes it all okay for me!

 

to be honest I am a little dissapointed... but I still like it! it's great footage and howcool is it that Mel Angie and Lori are somewhere in this video :dance:

ppl have been saying lovers in japan would be good for a live video.. but i dont know.. i personally think lost would be better.. yeah if it was lovers in japan it would be beautiful and everything with the butterflies sand the lights and imaging.. but i think that will always have the most impact live.. and they shold save it for when they do, do it live... coz theres nothing like that feeling..

He has some great moves though, makes the video seem so natural and original!

It's too jumpy...hard to focus on anything! :rolleyes: I like the song and idea, but could have slowed down on some of it more to the beats. I guess the editor had A-D-D or something... gives me a headache! :sick2:

i personally like all the quick editing.. it makes it all like energetic and fast and hype!

 

and they all look so hot in all those split seconds too

 

i dunno i love video's that are quick like that.. they get my heart racing! it keeps your attention!

The idea of the live video is great, and Lost! is better live, but that looks like a remix of other fans's videos, too fast and from too many different angles to see them... the shots are not very synchronized with the music and it hasn't just fitted with the song, I don't know but this doesn't seem very professional...

 

It shows really how they are, but for such a good song as Lost it would be deserved something slightly better... anyway, it makes you want to see them again live!!
