25-Nov-2008: Honda Center, Anaheim, Orange County (NEW DATE!)

Featured Replies

Hello,

I want to buy some tickets to the show but I've never been to a concert at Honda Center so I was wondering if someone who has been there can shed some lights on the views in section 100s (104, 105, or 106) and section 200s (228, 201, or 202). Also, are there seats in 104, 105, and 106 or do we have to stand? Thank you.

Here are some pics from their concert (found on google) to give you an idea of the size and location of seats. The Honda center is huge (top to bottom), you probably do not want anything in the 400's. I got section 223 last time and 221 this time. Amazing views. The floor is all seats, yet everybody stands. So if you are in the back floor you may have trouble seeing over everybody.

The last link appears to be from 201 or 208. I say the 200's are the best, unless you get close 100's...find a roadie/techie and sing your heart out for those.

This is the view from my seat in 2006, section 223 row M:

Row HH

Thank you for your response.

Where's row HH in section 228? Is that in the front or the back? Thanks again.

Mrk150, I saw Coldplay at the Honda Center few years back (when it was the Arrowhead Pond)...the ONLY thing that's so damn frustrating about the floor seats (which I have yet again) is that you are literally like a sardine packed-in (section 104 I believe..all floors have a similar feeling)...I mean you barely have any room for your legs to move...always uncomfortably glued to the person next to you. (when seated of course) So, don't plan on drinking alot of beer...near impossible to not feel like a complete nuisance getting up and down... If so, hope that you're on the isle (thank God I am this time). Oh, and I would eat before. I mean, you become neighbors real quick. Regardless, the sound is what you would expect in a hockey arena, very echoey. Plus, floor seats are even; so hope you don't have Cowboy Billy-bob in front of you. Coldplay still manage to keep the sound from running away from you so don't worry abou the quality. You know, the seating location it's certainly better than the nosebleeds. I hope that helps give you some perspective. I have 1 extra ticket (not seated by me) that I'm trying to sell on Craiglist for face value; it's section 201, Row S which is in the center (although in the back)...at least it's a stereo sound there and NOT flat on the floor...anyway just thought I'd mention it.

sorry for the multiple posts - slow internet...

Can you give me a link?:)

Anyone else got tix but can't go I'm looking for 1 more to take my sister.

ridiculous as this sounds, i'm having trouble deciding between a seat in section 204 row M........or a seat in section 104 row 10.

(take the floor seat 30+ rows away from the stage, or the loge seat that's further away from the stage but with a guaranteed view of the whole stage).

:embarassed:

Tough one...Personally I'd take the loge seat. I like the over view of the entire show...but then again being that far from the stage is a drawback.

This thread is five times bigger than some of the shows that have already passed - and this one is still 2 weeks away :o

^ its probably because we've all been trying to win the most annoying, frustrating, ridiculous, contest EVER for weeks now and none of us have !!!

if anyone at all is still trying- good luck today :)

I knew that contest was familiar. The sellers I got my ticket from won the contest...which is why they were selling their original tickets. Meet and greet the band...wow...I'm gonna go ahead and try for today.

Start time for Honda Center Show???

Hi All,

This is the fourth time I will be seeing Coldplay. If memory serves me correct, they usually came on between 9 and 9:30 pm. Although, I came across one thread (don't remember which one) for another date on this leg of the tour and I believe someone said the guys came on at 8:40ish? Does anyone know if this was just a fluke or have the guys been coming out earlier in this leg of the tour? Any ideas??? 11-25-08 Woo hoo!

....apologies for being totally random, but i just realized the Anaheim gig for this tour is also on a Tuesday night like the last tour's. :P

this will be the third Coldplay gig i'll be going to that's on a Tuesday night. hurrah!

**semi-bored while waiting to call in **

my guess is that they'll stick with coming onstage at 9.

the 8:40-ish had to be for some other reason (i.e.: venue's curfew, special event, etc.)

Whatever! This contest is the worst thing EVER!! LIKE REALLY! I HATE YOU 98.7! :surprised:

and this is apparently the LAST giveaway.

*swift kick to STAR 98.7's arse* :sneaky:

**edit**

never mind...more call-ins to come.

oh I totally hate this station too- and as much as I really wanted to win or anyone from here to win- Im super glad its over it was driving me insane :\

EDIT : wait wtf theres more?!!!

Question

I'm going with a female friend so I don't want her to stand in the 104's for three hours but mid-200s and front-100s are asking for >$400 a piece.

Is $450/2 a fair price for seats in 201-205 and 225-228? Do you guys prefer views or location? So, 201 Row N or 205 Row H or maybe 211 Row K? Thanks for ya'll's inputs.
