i think rainy day is my favorite based upon the samples. to be honest im a little disappointed with how glass of water sounded. after the live version i was really excited for this song but in the clip it just sounded like a lot of the emotion in chris's singing was lost and it was just kinda flat when he sings 'son dont ask...'. but i got CHILLS during the part in rainy day with the violectra. and i think LiTii has potential. the only things that bothered me were the weird vocals where chris sings 'every road is a ray of light'. and im really surprsied they re-used the lyrics 'now my feet wont touch the ground.' idk it just seems repetitive. im kinda being too picky and i dont like it. i just want to hear the full tracks!

We think that Prospekt's March was actually Poppyfields- they're listed together on the EP, and apparently the VLV booklet has one of the lines from that clip listed as a quote from Poppyfields... :confused:

well... i think the confusion is that on the lyric artwork the lyric 'here i lie on my own in a seperate sky' was matched with poppy fields. and then on the clip of prospekts march that is sung. howeverrr prospekt did lable the song on the tracklist as Prospekts March/Poppy Fields so maybe its just one song with 2 titles idk.

I think it's definitely Prospekt's March 'cause the reported title is Prospekt's March. If they wanted to put in rotation 'Poppyfields' i think they would wrote 'Prospekt's March/Poppyfields' or 'Poppyfields' only...

i do generally agree. i thought the live version had more...something. more energy, more emotion, more power. not that i don't like this one, but i expected something a bit more.

 

but i like, cry every time i hear LIT2. i do so much excited/in love crying these days: coldplay concerts, coldplay ticket upgrades, new coldplay music, OBAMA...

You know, Chris definitely did sing that "come over to my house" line of Rainy Day during the Philly concert. I was wondering what on earth it was :laugh3: it's probably taped somewhere
