I am shopping for airfare now. Any compelling reason to wait and think things will get cheaper?

I don't know where you're coming from, but I keep waiting hoping flights will get cheaper, too( for me coming from US, it has gone down $200 since I started checking back in Dec). But I don't want to wait too much longer, in case it goes back up...

it'll be a risk...there are times when cheap(er) air tickets become available nearer to date, but there's also the more likely risk that the price goes back up.

 

& i think this period of Sep is peak travel time into UK cos the gig's close to the start of the unis' new academic year. you got all the int'l students coming over, so i think demand (& hence price also) is likely to go up nearer to date.

And yeah, sometimes waiting to the last minute you can find a great deal, but I'm not that much of a risk-taker...I'll just wait a few more weeks...but you do what you feel comfortable with:)

I know that feeling... Last time I was too greedy and wanted to wait for ticket prices to go down even more, but then overnight it tripled in price instead :stunned: So I couldn't go to the gig I wanted to :bigcry:

 

Once you see a price that you are willing to pay, purchase your ticket and swear not to check prices anymore!!! :lol:

well, i think right now there's still some time to play with. most int'l students will wait til they've secured their student visa before booking tickets. i think it's usually in July/August when the rush starts for air tickets to UK.

 

but i'd go with Min's advise. unless you're prepared to pay the price with the waiting game gamble, just book when the price is right & don't get the compulsion to check on prices again after than. just in case. ;)

I'm planning to go to France and then take there a direct train to London. It's supposed I can't travel flying in my 8th pregnancy month, and somebody told me some airlines can forbid me to fly with them, is that truth?.

 

That's why I still haven't booked any hotel.

 

If I finally can go to Wembley you will see a biiiiiiiiiiiiiig paunch, hahahahaha!!!
