^you're not charged per color, it's just that most colors won't show up on a yellow shirt. if we want what's on it to be readable, it's pretty much got to be in black ink

and yes, what's written on it is just for us and the other people there, but i was originally under the impression that that was the entire point of the shirt, and that being noticed by the band was just extra. i'm all for whatever everyone else agrees upon, of course, (because it's JUST shirts ), but i was more excited about being part of a coldplaying team than maybe getting noticed :D. i guess i just am on a different page than everyone else

Haha am I only one who loved the idea of bright yellow shirts?

I agree. :nice:

I don't really think we need an elaborate logo with many colours....We can have something really cool just with a yellow shirt and a classy black design. Simple and 'elegant'.

As for the colour of the t-shirt, I really like the yellow idea cause it's kinda Coldplay colour, and for many of us, it this colour that turns us into CP fans....It's very symbolic. And I'm sure it's also very symbolic for the band....So if they saw a 'yellow sea', I guess they will be more touched and amused rather than white t-shirt you can find everywhere....Plus if you meet someone in yellow in the crowd, there is better chance for him/.her to be from Coldplaying...With a white t-shirt, it's harder to guess cause everyone wears white... But that's just my opinion ^^

Soo i'm not the only one who loved the yellow shirt idea.

Yea, we could. :nice: But i'm going to bring the Finnish flag besides coldplaying flag. Maybe it's possible, that coldplaying flag would be in the otherside of the flag, and in the other would be the country flag? :D

And of course, your shirt should have a reindeer on it too!!:P

Obviously someone can start a thread about this and we can vote for the best design.

Let's please stick with the "yellow" though, and I still reckon the wording, either on the front or back, should be "Coldplaying's Barmy Army".:D

Yes - these are all reasons I suggested yellow in the first place. It might be "corny", it might be unfashionable, but it'll be very EFFECTIVE.;)

And if it's cold that day, you can still wear it over a long-sleeved top, as people do at football matches.

In fact, this would work like a "football shirt", as you'd be able to wear it at future Coldplay concerts too.

The CCC shirts I have already are fine, but nowhere near distinctive enough for me, especially in a dark environment.

Sorry, Coldplaying's Barmy Army sounds shit. My opinion.

Need a better name than that!

Haha of course :P are you obsessed by reindeer?

No need to be rude about it. Constructive comments only, please.;)

Coldplaying's Yellow Army is another option.

I'd an idea but I don't know if someone already said it.

Bedsides the logo we could make the flag of our country on the sleeve. It would look great and we still can make a logo on the front or the back of the t-shirt.

You could have something like "Coldplaying's Barmy Army" written on it.

I like that idea! :D

You're the one who lives in "reindeer land", not me!!:P

Ok, ok.. Yellow sounds better.

The barmy army sounds stupid, it's been used too many times and it's the cricket fans' name. Coldplay is music, not sport. (unless we're talking about Chris' crazy moves)

I like that idea! :D

I thought you might!!:D

Anyway, the wording can be put to the vote if there are several suggestions.

However, we need something simple and effective like that.

The word "Barmy" isn't exclusive to the cricket fans IMO.

Yeah but i don't need to talk about them every second ;)

That's not what I herd........................

a-chan (sorry, I don't know your name:embarassed:) I see where you're coming from with the symbolism of the colour yellow and everything, and its a cute idea. As for making it easier to find other coldplayers though, I was under the impression that we would all try to meet up in the same place, either before or after the concert, which is when we would all get to know each other :nice:. I think we were planning on doing the meeting up via texting, but obviously we have a long time to work out exactly how we're going to do that . And the sea of yellow is a nice idea, all I'm saying is even if we wanted to, I think it would be unlikely that we would all be huddled in one big group to achieve the desired effect. I know there are an amazing number of Coldplayers turning up to this concert (around 80 now I think ), but bare in mind that a considerable portion of people have booked seated tickets, and people who bought standing aren't all going to be able to arrive the night before, or at the same time. So unless we're able to skip the queue to be with other coldplayers (which *probably* isn't allowed :P) , I'm not sure there will be enough of us in one area among the HUGE sea of people to make an impact - I think most of us will be seperated during the gig . Remember, this place is going to be full to the brim, and this is Coldplay's largest venue to date. Having said all that, I'm probably being a bit pessimistic :P

So I'm still not totally convinced, but if people really do want to go with this yellow thing, then I guess that can be one of the various 'official' coldplaying tees for Wembley  The problem is that we can only have so many of these t-shirt colours / designs produced, as each different tee costs money. For people not so hot on the yellow ones, we would need options for them too (i.e. the darker / white coldplaying shirts). But hey, this is still MONTHS away, so we have plenty of time to figure it out :D

^Yellow stands out more than any other colour and it will be much better if everyone's wearing the same colour. I think there'll be more than enough of us gathered in one or more parts of the stadium, and you'd still be able to spot everyone else dotted around.;)

The word "Barmy" isn't exclusive to the cricket fans IMO.

but 'barmy army' is.

and 'barmy' is such an old word anyway. Nobody really uses it these days.

That's not what I herd........................

:laugh3: hilarious!
