Ok so I love Coldplay and was really looking forward to this gig. But when I want to see Coldplay, I want to see them, not them and Simon Pegg and NOT THEM AND JAY-Z for goodness sake. It was bad enough having him as a support but when he turned up in Lost I couldnt believe it.

Having said that, I loved the rest of the gig, and I liked the comedy stuff too. Chris Martin really is a terrific front man!

Simon Pegg is one of Chris's best buddies and turned up at the O2 gigs last December and did an identical impromptu act. Nothing wrong with Coldplay and Jay-Z doing Lost (Prospekt's March EP).

I'm going again tonight and it would be awesome if Beyonce turned up for a collaboration.

Well I guess we disagree on that one too then! Enjoy it!

Wow, Ian and everyone else, thank you so much for the pics and videos !

Been to Coldplay arena shows before but wembley is just the king! Must see to believe! A massive gig with unparalleled energy! I so hope this night makes it to the DVD! It was magical! Made quite a few videos from good seats. Will post on YouTube as soon as I'm home.

ThAnks everyone and thanks London for a great night!

Chris kept saying that the crowd and sound was fantastic. Great venue and acoustics.

I'm glad the Knebworth plans were shelved.

Went to Wembley on the 18th. A good deal of the crowd were leaving before the end and it was a sign that it was only an OK concert. There lots of pauses and not enough energy ( and a backing track for keyboards sometimes). And 90 minutes? I think we deserve better/more than that. I thought the boys were a bit self indulgent - it's for the fans after all - and we didn't pay to see Simon Pegg, even though I like him. CP don't need support acts, we just need to see more of them. Maybe the big venue didn't help.

An amazing night. Thought Girls Aloud were great.....quite an ecclectic mix of tastes catered for in the warm up acts!

Great photos posted here ....thanks y'all

hey... are u sure that they will make a DVD for wembley concerts? because i dindnt see any dvd cams on the lastnight concert

sorry for my english xD

OMG you guys the pictures are AWESOME! Is it just me or does it look like they had brand new uniforms on last night?? They look shiny and new? Im fucking spewing that I couldnt quite get back from Australia in time :(

Were you standing or seated? I was standing about 30 rows from the front in the centre and I thought the atmosphere was fantastic. The crowd around me knew most, if not all of the songs and were singing loudly. I'm seated tonight and expect a different sort of atmosphere. I noticed early on that most were sitting on their seats until the usual favourite songs were played.

I reckoned it was 1hr 50m but I've paid the same price to see 90 minutes of a turgid Premiership football game and do you think those players care about the fans? The fact that the band trekked near the back of the stadium (for the Simon Pegg segment) and utilise the side stage (right stage from our standing position for God Put a Smile/Talk mix, Hardest Part) suggests that at least they made an effort.

OMG!! I Took Loads of Photos!! Last Night's Concert was Just... Epic!! I just can't describe the feeling! It was my first Coldplay concert to, and to be at Wembley was just Amazing!!! Loved Every Second!! :D... When are they playing there again!? (Other than Tonight)

+1. Actually a lot of the people leaving were standing in the arena. In the seating most of us were standing anyway! Totally agree about the supports/Simon Pegg (lovely and talented though he is!)

I saw Coldplay in the Liverpool Echo and the atmosphere was electric - it was what made me decide to see them at Wembley. But I do think Wembers is a bit too big - you lose the intimacy of the gig and the sound is a bit echoey. Was the same for Muse.

90 minutes not sure which gig you went to - they were on for two hours, the only pause was really when they went from a to c stage and back.

Show the Wembley gig where audience doesn't leave before the end...

P.

Oh, man. What I would give to have been there last night or be there tonight. :(

What did it look like with the butterfly's when lovers in japan came on? Has anyone got any photos

Coldplay Wembley Videos

So I finally got all the videos up on YouTube. They are all taken from my seat in Block 144 , the sound is actually ok all considering and the video is good quality, so I think they capture pretty well the atmosphere in the stadium! Credit to shadow girl for filming the videos.

My sister forgot to take photos, she took only videos and I was too busy jumping around to be honest, but the butterflies looked great from my seat and they were everywhere! I am sure they were even more impressive to those standing in the pitch.

Saw them at Birmingham NIA last year and the were just amazing. Wembley is just too big and has rubbish acoustics. I was really disappointed last night. I won't be seeing a gig there again.

I could not disagree more. I saw them at arenas twice before and I thought wembley was the best gig. It's not very big at all compared to the other venues I saw and it has a wonderful energy to it. The sound was better than the other Arena show I was at. I was pleasantly impressed with the whole gig!

I was there last night, and it was bloody awesome! I met so many awesome people - cookie crew, This girl and her mum with the coolest multicolour hat ever. Me and my friend were armed with sharpies (i had coldplay on my forehead and guy (and a heart) on my cheek!) and lent them to everyone around us near the stage (we were about 3rd row guy side!). It was such an awesome day!

here are some of my photos (these were taken from my phone - my digital camera and the rest of these are yet to come)
