Take a walk around Salisbury Plain, one of the most natural parts of the countryside left

Don't go to Liverpool as it's the crime capital of Great Britain :P

If you go to London, don't bother with the London Dungeons, overpriced, and queues. I would suggest maybe the area near Covent Garden, theres some nice streets with little individual shops... perhaps the area near Camden Town. Im kinda bored with London recently, need to find some new places in it

oh... go on the London Eye at night...it's boring during the day :p

If staying in London, I really would suggest getting the 50min train ride to Brighton...it's a great city for people to visit the South coast, the Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilion, not to mention so many streets of cool alternative shops and cafes and bars :D

Hilarious.

Why mention it all the time? Statistics prove those kind of statements wrong and it's not really funny as a joke either since you hear it every single day.

Funny how much people from other parts of the UK dislike Liverpool. I didn't even recommend her to go there, just mentioned it to tell her how long it takes to travel from London to a Northern city. I don't think it would take much longer if you wanted to go to Leeds, York or Manchester.

lol @ the scousers.

Leeds is dreadful as well

York I do like and Manchester is pretty good.

Edinburgh is the best though

If I ever make it to London, I really want to go in the Eye of London. Giant ferris wheel hurray. :nice:

i think it kind of sucks actually :)

i mean, i was in london 2 years ago and it was such a waste of time and money... it's not as impressive as it sounds...

i was in london a week ago again.... and i think it's mostly walking the streets... and the parks...

i love london so much :nice:

Whatever, Nathan.

To ridicule people just because of the city they're from or to make tired, tedious, 'jokes' about places are about as childish and ignorant as you can get. And David, I know just because you're a Moderator it doesn't mean you're not allowed to have an opinion, but seriously the least I'd expect from a Moderator is a bit of respect and for them not to not make such provoking, idiotic comments, be they a joke or a serious WARNING, DO NOT GO THERE! 'plea'.

Just have some respect, people.

I've been to Liverpool twice. once I went to The Cavern, and once I went to Pizza Hut (and the uni library but pizza hut was more exciting).

GO TO SCARBOROUGH! :D ;)

GO TO SCARBOROUGH! :D ;)
