February 17, 200917 yr hey guys, my name is jean. like everyone else here i looove coldplay, im going to see them next week here in perth! cant wait, didnt even knw about this site until i googled set lists for coldplay. when i lived in london i used to live on the same street as guy berryman for like 4 years and i didnt even realise it until about 5 months before he moved to greener pastures. i kept on seeing this random guy with a little puppy. small, dark curly hair walking past my house every other day and i thought i knew him from somewhere but never put two and two together until one day when i went to his neighbours house cos she had asked me to babysit for her and on her wall was a signed coldplay poster.... i was like wow how did u u get that? she she went oh guy berryman the bassist lives next door. then it finally clicked and i think i lost it for a while. listened to all my coldplay cds for weeks on end but didnt see guy :( he must have been on tour. after that i said hi to him everytime i saw him go by and on the day he was moving out he put out a small trampoline with the sign 'please take me' stuck to it, my friend and i grabbed it and now it lives in my garden back in london, where it shall stay forever. lol sorry for going on a bit there. is anyone going to the perth gig next saturday?

February 17, 200917 yr Welcome to coldplaying.com, Jean! That was a great story about Guy - I'm not a fan of trampolines but I'd definitley take one if it had been Guy's :P I hope you have fun here :)

February 21, 200917 yr Author thanks for the warm welcome guys! just one week to , still working on my sign lol. im so glad i got good tickets, il be right at the front. i keep having this day dream where he sees my sign and freaks out, walks up to chris martin and whispers something to him, points at me and then they leave the stage... lol
February 21, 200917 yr G'Day Jean :) You will enjoy the show soooo much! And you'll also enjoy the fun on here even more ;) Great story about you living close to Guy. But I guess it's always like this. You hardly know the people living around you which is a shame sometimes.
February 21, 200917 yr Heyhey! That's cool you had his trampoline :D and make the sign make it!! Haha
February 21, 200917 yr You could also write a sign saying: You're little trampoline is in very good hands with me back in London! or If you fancy seeing your trampoline again, please call me ... :sneaky:
February 21, 200917 yr Author LOL thats an awesome idea, might make two of them. or do a whole juan mann theme and write a really long storyline on each one. il put up a different one between my favourite songs, if im lucky Chris might read it out ... chances may be slim, but hey a few years ago i was asking myself what r the chances of the members from the greatest band in the world living on your street? im doing it! :laugh3:
