🌙 COLDPLAY ANNOUNCE MOON MUSIC OUT OCTOBER 4TH 🎵

15-May-2009: Cruzan Amphitheatre, West Palm Beach, FL, USA

I know we've worn out the crowd comments by this point, but that was the most unenthusiastic Politik I've ever watched. Considering how it's freaking POLITIK, being unenthusiastic is very hard to do.

ok last post to clarify on the CD handout

at Tonight's venue they didn't have CD's at every entrance-- when I first arrived I thought I could get them every and any where-- I WAS WRONG- as I left I purposely went out of a different area to get the CD and still didn't get one-- 50-70% of people didn't even know they were giving out the 9 song disc... luckily i met that one nice lady and she gave me one of her 4 copies-- I already had the songs anyway but its a nice keepsake to have..... hopefully all of the areas of the shows and entrances and exits have them at the next show but not tonight

good night

OF COURSE VLV was played--- they did a two song set to the left of the main stage and Chris stayed and did a solo piano performance for song two when the band went back to the main area- as soon as he finished the song the DRUMS and GUITAR and LIGHTS KICKED IN and they KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEDDDDDDD VLV

definitely one of the 4-5 highlights of the show and Chris had a far ways to run and made it in record time and didn't miss a lyric and was AMAZING

?THAT IS NOT AN OFFICIAL LIST

THEY DID AT LEAST 20-23 SONGS MINIMUM

I JUST HAVE NO MORE MEMORY LEFT AND SONGS ARE RUNNING TOGETHER BECAUSE I STARTED LISTENING TO THEM 3-4 HOURS BEFORE THE SHOW THEN DURING THE SHOW THEN THE LIVE CD ON THE RIDE BACK AND THEN ANOTHER HOUR OR SO WHILE I AM WRITING TO YOU GUYS

There's obviously more to the setlist than what Payne posted (and thanks for the info, BTW). We have confirmed reports of The Scientist and the Monkees cover, and there's clearly some more standard material that was played (I can't possibly imagine leaving out In My Place or Violet Hill, for instance).

yes the monkees cover and the song sung by the drummer- I dont know the songs name- were really cool stripped down songs- Chris looked to be playing a RECORDER

and they were done on the 3rd stage on the lawn in the GA section of the amphitheater

now i must sleep
